19. Not surprised they are suing. Lots of public outcry over this whole situation. Brandy will have a lot of distress over this as well as the victim's family. Hopefully the victim's family is prepared for the long, painful road ahead in the media spotlight and in the courtroom.

20. You people are so quick to say that Brandy should serve time and be sued but in reality this could happen to anyone. How many times have you not paid attention while driving and just barely missed hitting the car in front of you? Yes it is sad that this woman died but it was an accident.

21. It's horrible what happened to that woman. I'm sure Brandy feels almost as bad as the family of the deceased. I think the right course of action is being taken by the family. No jail time will be served.

Brandy, apologize to the family directly, take care of the funeral expenses, pay their pain and suffering fees and begin the healing process. Don't let societies misguided judgements make you feel worse than you already do. I pray for that family and for you. The Lord knows you are heartbroken becasue of this, and that you didn't intend for this to happen.

24. People are jumping to conclusions. Sharpton and Jackson haven't even said anything yet. That man was an Arab not a Black Civil Right Leader so until either Jackson or Sharpton say something about putting in there two cents we should jump to conclusions that they will back up Brandy. They probably feel just like the majority of us that she (BRANDY) should be charged to the fullest extent of the law since she broke silence and started yelling that it was her fault. You can't take back statements like that now that lawsuits are being filed. Take a second and think about it if it were your mother, sister, brother, father, grandparents or other loved ones being killed by a person of another ethnicity. We would all be running down to the courthouses filling lawsuits.

Just think about morally, common sense wise and rationally.

30. Why is this news? If anyone else lost a family member in an accident like this (driver speeding & not paying attention) regardless of who the driver was, you would sue. I know many families that have lost family members or had family members dismembered or paralyzed. What are you going to do? You are going to sue. If it was her fault, then she should have to pay up. Not any more than the average Joe, but she should have to pay up.
