46. I think Tyra is in Pain. She is still going on about this fat issue topic,if she was not in pain and secure, she would not have gone to such measures to prove that she is okay with her weight. If she was secure and really needed to speak, she would have done it once,and not lost the weight. I do believe she has lost some weight from the initial pictures,that were floating around the internet. I think she is vain and self absorbed, to go don the same swim suit,and show the world,that she is okay with the weight gain. This is vanity in my opinion,what point is she trying to make ,and for what particular purpose?. Tyra, you gained weight(nothing wrong with being curvy) and are now beginning to lose the weight, and stop with this pretentiousness about being okay with this issue.(You are only fooling the gullible people out there ,that want to be fooled) I think she is in pain and very insecure about herself. People who are secure about themselves do not go to such great lengths to prove a point. Secure celebrities do not act this way. If you are a celebrity, expect people to say good things about you,and bad things about you. Mature secure celebrities,do not engage in press battles with the media and with the public. I do support her saying she is okay with the weight gain,but deep down I doubt her sincerity, because of the way she has gone on about this issue. America, there is nothing wrong with being curvy.

48. I think Tyra looks great! I've been hoping for a long time, that the stick thin body type would fade away. At 5'8", I weigh 140lbs. I'm happy with my weight and body. I actually had a guy tell me once that he would never date a girl that weighed 140lbs (this was while he was hitting on me). I never told him that I did weigh 140, instead I just kind of laughed at him and ignored him the rest of the night. The sad thing is, a lot of guys don't have a clue how to gauge women's weight because everyone lies about it.

51. Tyra's body mass index is 23 which is normal for a 33 year old who is 5 feet and 10 inches tall. This tells us she is healthy. Tabloids should promote good health. Calling Tyra Banks fat sends the wrong message to curvy women everywhere. Everyone who has the right BMI for their age and height is healthy NOT fat. Anyone whose BMI is below the range for his age and height should eat more.

The size of these models now are ridiculous..They all look aneroxic...Kate Moss for goodness sakes does cocaine to stay thin..and many models try to mirror Kate Moss's size..You have Paris Hilton..Lindsay Lohan...Nicole Ritchie..the twins from Full House...They are trying so hard to show that they are thin..but instead they look like they are dying...I rather eat sit down with some good friends and a full plate of pasta..soul food..thai food...chinese..whatever....I love my curves...and my friends love their curves..but see there's a big difference...I hate to bring up race on here ..but here is a point that is too real...When a black little girl is a little curvy...she is told that she looks alright..when a caucasian little girl is a little curvy..she is told that she is fat..Why? Tell me why? Thats why some people look at their friends and say.."God she's fat" and the person barely has a bit of fat on them...It starts from the homes..and also the magazines...I would read Essence and Teen..I would read Ebony and Sassy..at that time Sassy was out..I am now 27...After awhile I got tired of looking at Teen magazine because why didn't I see a model with curves when I was younger... or a person with a pear shape...What I saw in the front of Teen Magazine...wasn't healthy to me...When I was a kid I was very skinny..I was told to put on weight like crazy..I'm not saying to be overly obese...but whats wrong with women loving their bodies and America and Society thinking in a more positive way about the female body ...because if you all don't....If you plan on having a little girl...You might be having another Kate Moss lookalike

Fat women VS skinny women. They fall for it everytime. 58. Tyra is a very beautiful confident woman. I am glad to see a women truly love herself despite what others say. I was skinny all my life and finally started putting on some weight. I have some people who say I am getting fat. I'm not offended by their perception. I think I look curvy and sexy. I love the way I look with some meat on my bones. Call me fat. Call me a pork chop. Call me a cow. I absolutely love myself the way I am and I'm proud to see that she does too.

59. while i agree that tyra is by no means fat, too much emphasis goes on the "skinny" people. i am 5'4" and weigh 110 lbs. would i qualify as an anorexic or bulemic? i do not starve myself and i eat what ever i want. and i exercise regularly.there is an obesity epidemic in this country that is killing people and the "big is beautiful" mentality is fueling it. there is nothing wrong with being a size 12 or 14. that is the average size for a woman..someone who is 5'8" and that size is much more proportionate than someone 5'2" and round like a ball. bigger is not necessarily better, especially if you are unhealthy.

She is a beautiful women and if you ask ANY doctor they will tell you that she is not overweight or even close to it, but she is finally in the safe wieght range for women of her height. And can peope just stop being so damn mean about others... you should critizise the person in the mirror if you really want to talk trash, dont use your unhappiness to hurt others!
