Cops: Garrison Drunk & Coked Up During Crash

Blood tests have revealed that Lane Garrison had "more than twice the legal limit" of alcohol in his system and was under the influence of cocaine during the fatal crash that killed a 17-year-old boy in December, this according to police.

A spokesman for the Beverly Hills Police Department announced today that his department has recommend that the L.A. County District Attorney file a felony charge of gross vehicular manslaughter against the "Prison Break" star.

The D.A. received the police file today and the case is under review. If charges are filed and Garrison is convicted, he faces a maximum of ten years in prison.

According to cops, Garrison's blood alcohol level was at least .16. He could also be prosecuted for driving under the influence. A DUI could be prosecuted based on alcohol, cocaine or both. Since there was bodily injury, a DUI could be prosecuted as a felony.

Cops also recommended that Garrison be prosecuted for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

As TMZ first reported, Garrison met Vahagn Setian and two 15-year-old girls hours before the crash. The teens invited the actor to a party, where people who attended tell TMZ they saw Garrison drink between four and seven shots of Grey Goose vodka in a short period of time. Garrison's high-powered celebrity defense lawyer, Harland Braun, tells TMZ his client was heading back to his apartment when the crash occurred. Setian was killed and the two girls were injured.

Who are all these "sources" that supply all this information about what brand of vodka he drank, if he did a line or 5....I'd rather hear from one of those chicks in the car (particularly the one riding shotgun) to see if what she was giving Lane caused him to be distracted. We all know it's hard to stay focused on the road when you're getting a HUMMER.

33. I think the most important question that needs to be brought up is, why the hell was he partying with these kids? Hes freaky almost 28 yrs old. Where were these kids parents? And why hasnt the media, which includes TMZ, focused on that aspect as well?

42. a lady in OC was just convicted for killing her 6 year old son on the 73 freeway while high on Meth & alcohol. She was .14. There are enhancments for a .20. Not good at all. He'll do a min. 4 year sentence. Nobody wins in this at all. What a shame!

I don't see how in the hell any person who has an ounce of intelligence could compare the Garrison & Brandy accidents...they are like night & day...he was drunk and high on drugs with is illegal in every state and she wasn't....I can understand that people don't personally like brandy and i for one am no fan, and don't believe she's an angel but she has never been associated with drugs or alcohol....she might even drink but we've never heard anything about her drinking and acting like a fool...This guy who is clearly an adult was hanging out and drinking with UNDER AGE kids...that tells me that he's a freakin pervert period...why haven't the parents of these kids who were at the party spoke up about him being with this kids. no reasonable 28 yr old male is going to even want to hang out with 17 yr olds unless they have ulterior motives. He's a freakin wolf in sheeps clothing. but no one is talking about that...this freakin perp killed someone due to his clear and absolute caselessness and reckless actions and people are talking about his good looks...well brandy might look like an alien but she didn't get drunk or high and get behind the wheel of a car and kill someone, she was the cause of a terrible ACCIDENT that resulted in the loss of a life... you people need to get a life....freakin pathetic

Same with Brandy, when the investigating is finished and they find she was chatting on a cell phone on the highway, she should pay the piper too! Might as well have put a drink in her hand. (Talking on the phone and drinking & driving) same frigin thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
