Gossip & Rumors
Mullally Dissed by "Will & Grace"

Megan MullallyEven before news hit that "The Megan Mullally Show" had been cancelled, Mullally's former "Will & Grace" co-stars wanted nothing to do with the doomed blabfest.

Sources tell TMZ that with her ratings already in the basement, Megan wanted to reunite the "W & G" cast on a special episode around her birthday, which fell during November sweeps. While Sean Hayes did appear in an episode that month, there was no getting Debra Messing or Eric McCormack aboard Meg's sinking ship. Iceberg!

In January, NBC cancelled the daily talker after airing fewer than 75 episodes. Although Messing guested on an early episode in September, Eric never did. Get out!

An NBC rep told TMZ, "We invited several people for that show. Some people could make it, others couldn't because of schedules."

32. Sean Hayes and Megan were the only reasons to watch. I still can't get the ugly memory of Debra's exposed skinny bones [zero] breasts and stiff curls, packed make-up clown makeup outta my head.. UGH.

33. I find it difficult to believe that Megan Mullally would expect her former co-stars to "rescue" her show. While I'm sure the cast members of W&G are "friends" they are also professionals. A reunion show would have been nice for Megan more than any of them, I'm sure (what have we seen any of the other 3 do since the show ended?) -- but there's no way she would (or could) expect her former co-workers (that's what they really are) to make-or-break her first "non-W&G" project out of the gate.

It's everyone's preogative to appear (or not) on Megan's show -- whether it's a scheduling issue or not, Eric MacCormick and Debra Messing certainly cannot be the ones to blame for Megan's show doing poorly in the ratings. Maybe it's just 'cuz people weren't watching... I personally never saw it but many of the posters here are saying it was "uncomfortable" -- certainly not a adjective used for successful talk shows.

34. First off, I highly doubt Megan was expecting her former co-stars to "rescue" her show, since Debra is currently out of the country filming a show, and Eric is doing a project as well. Sean was available or moved stuff around be available for that episode.

Megan's show was good, it was wholesome and interesting. But most people want sex, cussing, and vulgarities (among other things); people were not ready for a good show.

NBC needs to grow up

35. I think megan is the best charcter on that whole show.. she's also the reason why i watch every time will and grace of course i love the whole cast but she's really the best comic charcter of all humor shows.. and by the way.. that racist story ui'm sorry but not everybody can come on a show.. and if you are black it's not always because people are racist.. you can be a racist to if you say things like that!! .. But after all I LOVE MEGAN.. and she deserves to have het own show again!!!
