Sad Brad Puffs and Ponders

Brad Pitt took a pensive break from helping Angelina Jolie collect items from her late mother's hotel room, and sat on the balcony floor to have a cigarette on Wednesday.

Angelina's mother, Marcheline Bertrand, passed away on Saturday after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She had been living at L'Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The tragic news brought the supercouple back to Los Angeles after their relocation to New Orleans where Brad is shooting his latest film, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."

31. Condolences to their family at such a sad time.
To lose someone in such a final way is excruciatingly and ongoingly painful.
Just ask Jennifer.

32. These comments are classic!!!!
People now a days make me want to move to a far away place.
The "I'm right...your wrong mentality" is amazing.
Why don't we all just wear uniforms and goose step everywhere!!!!
Just because one person smokes and you don't agree with it doesn't make them an asshole....
It makes you an arrogant dick head who forgets what this country was found for!!!!!

33. Hey TMZ, these a ss holes are precisely why I do not visit your site, nor do the millions of other jp fans out there. Who wants to read this nasty shite?! FYI bucketheads: when your sick, the worst thing that can happen for you is to have your family stop living their lives to hover over you on 'death watch.' Get a fooking clue, and get off Angelina's case you embittered JEALOUS fug b*tches - go chase after that fug tv sit-com hack known as Chin Maniston, who even though she's worth 110 million dollars in residuals from her CRAP TV show, hasn't talked to her own mother in 10 years, and leaves her to indigent care in LA. Yet here you are getting on Angelina's case when her mother was her best friend and they loved each other deeply and were extremely close. You females are the worst and just give ALL women a bad name. But that's it fuggies, keep hating on Angie because she's beautiful and has Brad, his babies and an Oscar. That's what this will ALWAYS be about.

35. Condolences to the family at such a sad time. And to Patti #11,
To lose your best friend in such a final way is excruciatingly and ongoingly painful.

36. Smoking causes cancer period, it may not be specifically linked by research to ovarian but it is to the cervix. Its in poor taste to smoke when your live in girlfriends mom just died of cancer....nevermind the fact that he has kids. This is tacky. I feel really badly for Angelina losing the one parent she was close to, hopefully she can learn from this experience and reconnect with the parent she still has.

37. #11

I'm not saying if you don't live in the same sate, aren't present in the same state at the time of your mother's death....you care less....but, chances are....you can't AFFORD to devote the time, or the money to be next to your parent at that time....because if you could....YOU MOST CERTAINLY WOULD......

39. Patti you are crazy, get a life. Angelina had a nose job too it's been well documented. JA's mother actually betrayed here by selling stories of her for cash which clearly effects the trust JA feels toward her.

40. smoking is bad for one's health - yes, we understand that. but last time i checked, that's a poor choice that we're still allowed to make for ourselves - just like drinking booze, over-eating or eating crap, and opening one's mouth to spew heartless, judgmental b-s at a guy who's never done anything to hurt you. does it make you feel better about yourselves condemning the "big star" based on a candid photo? if so, that's pathetic. the guy's family is grieving, give 'em a break.

41. FYI If you are sick of them don't post on their threads. If I'm sick of people i don't post bc that encourages the blogger to post more about that particular celeb. Toodles Noodles!

43. hey 17, is it the adoption agency or is it the lawyers working through them that are pissed off. *hint* what do you call a hundred lawyers at the bottom of a lake? a good start. as for overated and overdone, its not them but the constant news about them. were all whores, sorry but that's the truth.

44.
It is common courtesy to not speak ill of anyone after a tragic incident like death.
Since none of the above commentators know these people personally, it would
be wise to know what you are talking about. As to the comments about Brad's
former marriage - Give me a break - 50% to 60% of weddings end in divorce.
GET OVER IT!!!! NO ONE BREAKS UP A HAPPY MARRIAGE!!!! GROW UP!!!!
Give the man and his family some privacy, famous people are just that-people.
Even Brad can be stressed, if he chooses to smoke - BUTT OUT!!!! at least he is
not BITTER.
