Sad Brad Puffs and Ponders

Brad Pitt took a pensive break from helping Angelina Jolie collect items from her late mother's hotel room, and sat on the balcony floor to have a cigarette on Wednesday.

Angelina's mother, Marcheline Bertrand, passed away on Saturday after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She had been living at L'Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The tragic news brought the supercouple back to Los Angeles after their relocation to New Orleans where Brad is shooting his latest film, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."

31.
It is common courtesy to not speak ill of anyone after a tragic incident like death.
Since none of the above commentators know these people personally, it would
be wise to know what you are talking about. As to the comments about Brad's
former marriage - Give me a break - 50% to 60% of weddings end in divorce.
GET OVER IT!!!! NO ONE BREAKS UP A HAPPY MARRIAGE!!!! GROW UP!!!!
Give the man and his family some privacy, famous people are just that-people.
Even Brad can be stressed, if he chooses to smoke - BUTT OUT!!!! at least he is
not BITTER.

32. Has anyone considered...or published...the strong possibilities that Angelina's stone face appearance at the recent awards just MIGHT have had something to do with the fact that she knew her mother was in her final battle with cancer???
Could Angelina have been pre-occuppied???
Has anybody thought about that???

33. b- no one is heartless. It is a terrible and tragic thing to lose a parent and my prayers are with the mother. I however, cannot say the same for Angelina or Brad. She knew damn well her mother was sick for a VERY long time. You dont take up and globe trot while your mother, whom she said she loves very much, is dying. For me, and I am sure others, feel that is just disgustingly wrong. I would never, ever, leave a parent who is dying of cancer or any other horrible disease to help others when she should have been by her mother's side. Maybe all of their money is clouding their judgement. Who knows. But to me, that would never happen. FAMILY FIRST!!

35. I don't like the couple at all. However, I believe they both deserve privacy at a time like this. The paps should not be following them around to get pictures to sell. I have no desire to see Brad Pitt trying to hide from the cameras while smoking a cigarette. This, and the other pictures recently, are too intrusive into their lives after Jolie losing her Mom.

36. #23 CoolKidd - How do you know he's not BITTER? As you say, it would be wise to know what you are talking about. Yeah, he looks happy to me.

39. Lay off! like being a good parent requires you to be a non-smoker. Smoking is not the worst thing in the world. He seems to be a wonderful parent, way more hands on then alot of non celebrities and celebrities. You non-smokers have got to get over those who continue to smoke,it is non of your business. Let them mourn their loss, we have all been there and now how hard it is.

40. This is one of those paprazzi pictures I feel kinda icky for looking at. Even celebs deserve some privacy while mourning the death of a loved one.

43. How right you are, Becki, #1 abive. And the LAST thing I would do is suddenly move to New Orleans. She had to know how little time her mother had left. Maybe she has learned a hard lesson and will try to make amends with her father before it is too late!

44. There are all kinds of cancers, you A-HOLES! You people are evil and heartless. You don't even know if she died because of smoking. My mother is 78 years old and has smoked her entire life and is healthy as hell, while my poor deceased aunt died of breast cancer at 59. SHE NEVER TOUCHED A CIG IN HER LIFE.

Keep acting like this and YOU'LL GET ANAL CANCER FOR BEING SUCH A-HOLES!
