46. Mothers are not supposed to host baby showers for their daughters...but corporations shouldn't either. Doesn't she have any friends? Actually, the sponsored baby shower seems to be quite big in Hollywood. Have they no shame? Swag, freebies and corporate sponsors are all getting pretty sickening.

49. Just think about it, we feel bad for a spoiled, selfish and brat young woman who was left $800,000. She had a million dollar wedding to her first husband and left him after 8 months and married this slug who dumped his wife for her. We all know that he thought there was going to be a whole lot of money to marry this clown. Get her pregnant and like K-Trash you're tied to the money. 50. I have never understood the hatred some people have for Tori Spelling, except for maybe sheer jealousy? Whether she has money or not, she is ENTITLED to have a baby shower and is ENTITLED to be registered. Come on people, she is having a baby...she is excited...money or not, she is excited. 51. 29 Hippo - Tori understands the market - some people are happy to pay $75.00 for a pillow that belong to Tori Spelling of 90210; and Tori also understands that most of these same people are going to turn around and sell these items for much more on E-Bay. And they did. Why should she 'give' her things away for someone else to profit big time from them? She's due a little - it's her notoriousnous they're benefitting from in the first place. I also think that if people want to send her baby gifts, it's their business. They obviously WANT to. IMHO.
How do YOU know that Tori 'feels poor'? She has NEVER stated that, anywhere.
Projecting, are we? She just does what she has to do. She seems like a trooper.
You state 'and from Petit Tresor!?' Tori likes that store. Whatsittoya? Are you going to tell her what store she should like and register at? Baby store police? She is friends with a lot of wealthy people, a lot of whom wouldn't be caught dead at WalMart. If average individuals can't affort Petit Tresor, they should shop where they're able. IMHO.

My guess is that she does have friends, can afford to buy the baby's clothes and that this whole article is just TMZ's usual snarkiness with little basis in truth.

58. To Lenn and Shallow Hal:

I hear that Tori has invested her inheritance in that new bed-and-breakfast reality show she's doing. I don't like her, I don't like the way she has talked about the former Mrs. McDermott, but I don't want Tori to end up in the gutter, either. Hopefully she can make a decent life for herself and her family.

I guess that one of the things that kind of bugs me about the really expensive baby items is this: having had three kids myself, I know that babies throw up and poop on everything, or put things in their mouths and chew them up, etc. It's a waste to have such fancy things. Also, you don't need nearly as much stuff as Tori is asking for--that's why we have washing machines. It bothers me that people who may not have much money will over-extend their budgets to buy something for Tori that she doesn't even need.

And Lenn, I was thinking the same thing too about the new husband. I hope he really loves her and isn't just in it for the money.

60. Why are you all so mean...Tori is a sweetheart, she's having her first child with her husband who love each other very much. And for those of you who are wondering why Tori is on the outs with her mother, well Tori found out old Candy was cheating on her dad while he was so ill. I'd feel the same as Tori and wouldn't want anything to do with a mother who could do that!!!!!
