Will Smith -- I'm No Barack!

Will Smith spoke today at the Motion Picture Association of America in Washington D.C. Mr. Smith told the crowd a hilarious story.

It happened this morning on his way to the event. An older couple approached Smith and said, "We love what you're doing. You're so great for the country!" In true Hollywood fashion, Smith said, "Thank you!"

As the star walked away, the old man said, "And we'll be sure to vote for you."

Come to think of it, Will and Barack have never been seen together. Coincidence?

61. Good grief! I can't believe one or two people in here who are accusing everyone but themselves of being racist, while at the same time encouraging racism. I'm white and don't think they look alike at all! Will Smith is most definately better looking in a conventional way. Obama is ok but lacks that certain something. But hey, beauty or what an individual perceives as visually pleasing is in the eye of the beholder and naturally there is going to be different views. As for you persons that like to cause controversy or bad mouth others, get the log out of your eye before attempting to get the splinter out of someone else's, wisdom from God's word...:}

That's hilarious, totally laughable and preposterous that all black people look alike because even unmixed we come fair complected to dark as tar so whoever came up with that all black people look alike thing is just retarded because we come short and talk and all kinds of features.....there's blacks all over the world I mean lol....that statement is just all kinds of ridiculous.

67. No one said the couple in the story was white. Why do so many people immediately jump to the conclusion that racism is at work whenever something is said about a black person? This story doesn't criticize either man. It doesn't refer to their race at all, or their accomplishments or talents. White people get mistaken for other famous white people too. There's nothing racist about it. So why do so many people want to make a huge story out of nothing? As we've heard before ... "why can't we all just get along?"

69. but all white ppl DO look alike. they are all the same color (pale pink), all have long stringy hair....unless they go to hair dresser and get it colored and permed, thin lips...unless they have enough money to get some 'pumped up' and if not they pinch them...and flat azzes for the most part (even when they are big fat blobs)...lmao! some are uglier than others...just like with black ppl. and some are prettier than others (just like black ppl). so it all depends on who's doing the looking :)

70. Oh of course. It MUST be a black thing. Will Smith didn't say it was a white couple who made the comments so there is no reason to believe the mistake was because he and Obama are both black. Get over yourself!

75. Ok, here is a theory...

Obama and Will Smith could look nothing alike. Still, there comes a time in peoples' lives when they begin to lose eyesight. People with Macular Degeneration might not be able to see that Obama and Smith have obvious differences. If the onset is recent, the couple could simply be unaware or not wanting to admit they are having eyesight problems. Being that I have a visual impairment and I am around people who are losing their sight often, I understand how this could happen.

That being said, it's still pretty funny! :)
