Will Smith -- I'm No Barack!

Will Smith spoke today at the Motion Picture Association of America in Washington D.C. Mr. Smith told the crowd a hilarious story.
Barack Obama and Will Smith
It happened this morning on his way to the event. An older couple approached Smith and said, "We love what you're doing. You're so great for the country!" In true Hollywood fashion, Smith said, "Thank you!"

As the star walked away, the old man said, "And we'll be sure to vote for you."

Come to think of it, Will and Barack have never been seen together. Coincidence?

76. Are you kidding me? Big ears? Will Smith looks like an otter, with little bitty otter ears on the side of his head. It may not be so apparent in this picture, but look at him in any movie and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
And, from the nose down these two do look alike. Look at their big teeth and lips, if Will was smiling his lips would look just like Obamas, although with everything included I don't see how anyone could make a mistake.
By the way, they're both equally ugly. Will Smith looks like a big geek next to Jada, what was she thinking......money?

77. while both may have different facial structure, but it's their very wide smile which causes them to look alike, both are intelligent men with a quick sense of wit.

79. First off I would like to point out that the prejudicial aspect didn't even occur to me. There was no mention of the color or "race" of the older couple. I looked at the picture awhile and came up with the ears as well. An older couple may not be that familiar with Will Smith's acting but recognize him and Obama as well so I thought plausible. Celebrities often tell stories of being 'recognized' as other celebrities.
After reading where someone was at the event and said he was given the anecdote I think it was a clever opening, and if anything could be conceived as prejudice from the statement (knowing it's made up), I would think it is against older people. IMO

80. I always thought Mary J. Blige and Oprah looked alike. Except Mary has a lot more tattoos and Oprah has way more money.

82. Where does FARRAH, Get off calling our president a cracker, or anyone a cracker, If people can't use the " N" word then dont use a derogatory term cracker. The Last thing this country needs is a black or female president..............

84. Umm Farrah, who is the racist?? Tough talker aren't you?

85. In reference to "Farrah's" comment about our current President being racist and calling white people "Crackers." Gosh, you sound pretty racist yourself. I guess it's okay to be racist if your black and talking about someone who's white. And the whole Katrina deal.........it's not a black/white thing. It's an "American" thing where people of ALL COLORS and ALL ECONOMIC backgrounds lost their homes, businesses, and personal posessions. I am from the Mississippi Gulf Coast and EVERYONE in my family lost everything and what you know....I'm white! And Katrina just didn't devastate New Orleans and the black people who live there...there are also people of other races from N.O. who lost everything......not to mention THE ENTIRE GULF COAST OF MISSISSIPPI! The federal government has given out billions of money in grants and aid to the local governments to re-build. Mississippi is slowly but surely re-builing because the Governor and local officials are off their butts and doing something. New orleans has received several million $ with more waiting to be used, but the Louisiana gov't can't decide how to disperse it and is delaying the re-builing of the city. Our President has given more than enough help and funds for the cause. It's not gonna be re-built in a year!

86. And to the Anonymous person who wrote..."it's b/c white ppl think all blk ppl look alike...", where does it say the couple was not black? It just says "older couple".

87. JIMCO, I agree ..... but, there is DEFINITELY a double standard in this country, and it is getting very old, very fast ..... getting tired of everything having to be politically correct, whatever happene to majority rules? .... we don't have to be ALL equal, never will .... but we do need to know there is EQUAL opportunity .... people just need to get off their butts and earn it, not expect it to be dumped in their respective laps

89. Hey #1! Where does it say in the article that it was a white couple? I'm offended by this remark because I'm white and married to a black woman and I NEVER thought black people all looked alike! Real bad generalization!

90. Karen,

Barack Obama doesn't favor Kristoff St. John (a.k.a Neil Winters - not "Hastings") on the Young and the Restless that much to me.. Although they do have some similar features.
