33. Anna wasn't perfect, none of us are. But she didn't have an easy life and losing a child devestated her. I find the news very sad and hope she is now at peace. I also appreciated the work she did on behalf of animals, not every celebrity takes the time to do anything for any cause.

Lydia shouldn't you be out torturing a puppy or something since you obviously hate animals and find this an appropriate time to post your feelings?

34. Anna Nicole, God grant you the serenity and peace in death not afforded to you in life. Prayers and thoughts are with your loved ones left behind.

We can only hope that any person involved in this untimely passing is bought to justice...in time surely that will be the case.

37. Texas Rick - how refreshing to read your post. As an animal lover I share your feelings. Some of the comments here are so awful it's hard to imagine what kind of non-human could write them. My guess is uneducated, miserable, friendless bottom feeders.

38. I'll take the mask off for a minute and admit that I feel sad and guilty. I feel very sad for the loss of Anna Nicole Smith's life and the effect it will have on her loved ones; especially her precious baby girl who now will never get to know her big brother or her Mother. I also feel very guilty, because like most people. I allowed myself to become tangled up in the gossip about the chaos surround her life. But when all is said is done, Anna Nicole Smith, (Vicky Lynn Hogan) was just a woman. A woman with the same weaknesses (even greater, perhaps) that we all have. One very positive thing she did in her life that did not receive much attention is that she loved animals very much and she supported at least 2 campaigns for the PETA organization to fight against fur and to expose inhumanely cruel practices being executed at IAMS pet foods (which was a shock to many animal lovers who were buying what we thought was a high-quality brand from an animal-friendly company). Though you may not agree with the more extreme practices PETA utililizes, I assure you that Anna's ads did not fall into that category. Her ads are glamourous and beautiful depictions of the Anna I like to remember: smiling and snuggling up to her animal friends. I have written to one member of PETA and am currently searching for more contact names to ask that they open an Anna Nicole Memorial Fund to benefit Anna's causes at PETA by her selling her beautiful posters, photos, or other merchandise from her campaigns with all proceeds going to a fund that would support one of the causes Anna backed. Whether you agree with everything PETA does or everything Anna did, they were a great fit when it came to helping the animals and a fund that focused just on that would give people so much more to remember her by than just the drama surrounding her tragic life. Please support me in effort by emailing me your names and email addresses in an email with the heading "Anna's Memorial" and I will build a petition to add weight and support my plan and forward it to PETA. My email address is masquedance@gmail.com. If you do not agree with me or have something ugly to say, please just post it to this site. This projects means a lot to me...I lost my Mother in 2002 very tragically and the only positive I could bring out of the experience was to ask people to donate funds to a local animal rights organization (as she was an animal lover like myself) in lieu of sending cards and flowers. This request was also put in her obituary and will be tied with her memory for life. I would like to offer the same opportunity to our beloved Anna.

41. What a lovely post masquedance. I never knew Anna was such an animal lover, it makes her death sadder somehow knowing that she gave her time on such a worthwhile cause. I too am a PETA supporter and was part of the "we won't buy while dogs and cats die" campaign against Iams. I think you r idea is fantastic and would be a great tribute to Anna. I will be in touch with you.
