76. I hope that the government of the Bahamas does not allow this so called mother to even visit with the child. That is the last thing that the little thing needs in her life, even at 5 months of age. With a mother like this, no wonder ANS had the life that she had. She was doing her best to distance herself and who can blame her. I have a wild child that has been into a lot of things, but no way will I ever say more then that to anyone out of the immediate family. I imagine that she has a book ready to go to press anyday now that will tell all..................I hate it.

77. Why dp people belittle ANS's mother? No one knows the true story of the family relationship. I do not recall Ms. Anna ever really giving a legit reason as to why she hated her mother so much. So what the women was probably a young and extensively dumb mother and probably made bad choices regarding her children many times. Half of you reading this probably had sorry-ass parents. How does that consitute pure hate of a person. And what about the rest of the family? What did they do?Anna didn't find issue with her mother untill HKS and the prospect of 400 million dollars entered the picture. Her mother raised Daniel till he was about 10 or 12, and Daniel had been known to say he loved his grandmother. Bottom line is AN's mother has legal rights, which she should assert. HKS only wants to hold on to the baby for the prospect of Old Man Howard's money. Lets not forget he has been trying to get it for 10 years. My blessings are with Anna's family. They shoud step up and do the right thing by that baby, as family should do.

78. It really weird here a mom who couldn't get near her daughter and now she is going to get her granddaughter. Life is so strange. I have nothing against Virgie, I kinda feel sorry her, she didn't get to talk to her grandson or be there when he was buried. People say that she's cold, I know from experience of dealing with a family member on drugs they die a thousand times to you. Everytime I saw him it always seem like the last time. But getting back to ANS, alot was said about ANS in a negative way and alot of this was true, but she is dead and God be with her and her son and also her daughter and family in the future. I've seen alot you criticize others for things they said about ANS, well let not forget you are the same people that are criticizing Britney Spears, now if she dies would your comments be less true?

79. That fat bitch is shameless. If she wants money so bad she should try promoting Trimspa instead of trying to take an innocent baby away from it's home. How dare she try and get custody when she knows damn good and well that Anna Nicole would never have wanted her daughter anywhere near that crazy, greedy, shameless family??!! Her and Anna's stupid sister Donna are white trash personified. The sister even gave an interview where she actually stuttered when asked if money was the motivating factor in their desire for custody of Anna's baby AND she was asked why she didn't like Howard and she couldn't give a valid reason. She sounded like an idiot ....."uh,well,he was there when two family members died".......okay so what? They were together ALL THE TIME, of course he would be there. What would be odd would be if he were conspicously absent! She also said " he should have taken care of them and made sure nothing happened to them".....but then complains that he was too controlling and also immediately contradicted herself by saying Anna couldn't control her son and that Anna and Daniel were grown people and should have taken care of themselves!!!! Can't have it both ways can you now?

Also, did anyone see the USWeekly lady talking about how when they were filming anna's reality show, the cast was 'very uncomfortable' with how controlling howard was? her family had tried to reach out to her about howard, and I have heard larry say the same thing... but she was so under his control. it was like they were making it sound like he made her hate her family. (who also have said how controlling he was)
i guess the usweekly lady also said there was actually 2 bodyguards there and one was completely devasted at the scene. she had been using the nurse for years to help her with her addiction and to watch over her so she wouldnt harm herself. so when she died, the body guard was so upset because they thought of her as a 'child' they all took care of.
didn't the studios do the same thing to judy garland- keep her drugged up all the time???

81. Anna didn't get along with her Mom and I am sure that she wouldn't want her child with her Mom. Her Mom has never had anything nice to say about her but looks like her Mother sure wants in on some of that fame and money now that Anna is gone.

83. I'm guessing the majority of you idiots don't have children. Regardless of how estranged a child and parents relationship becomes estranged, the parent never loses the love for their child. There is no record of Anna growing up in a household that would suggest that her mother didn't love her. Anna Nicole Smith was a mess, there was nothing that her mother could have done to save her. Anna left her family, they DIDN'T LEAVE HER! Anna is responsible for the shitty circumstances that led to her son's death, her death, and this child being left without her mother! Her life wasn't a tragedy! She had money, fame and she pissed it all away by surrounding herself with people that didn't have her best interest in mind. Now her daughter is left alone without her mother! Anna was selfish, greedy, childish, and ultimately irresponsible. Any Grandmother in their right mind would do exactly what Anna Nicole Smith's mother is doing. It's the right thing to do. Something that Anna had a tough time doing in her short life.

85. Firstly, Anna and her mother were estranged true enough but that does not mean Anna and her mother didn't love each other. Anna was a drug addict and more often times than not , addicts do not want people around who want them to go to rehab and get clean. Anna distanced herself from her family when she dropped out of high school got pregnant and married her teenaged sweetheart. Anna Nicole wanted fame and was always very promiscuous. Anna's family did not agree with a lot of the things she was doing. None of us knows why she and her mother were estranged, this happens every day to average citizens who aren't worth money. Though I may not agree with Anna's mother going on television immediately after her deathy making the some of the comments she made, does not mean she did not love Anna, not her two grandchildren.

That being said, if HKS would just get th egosh darned paternity test, that would clear one obstacle. WHomever the father turns out to be, should be the person allowed to raise her. An idependant trust would be set up for Dannilyn and nobody would be able to touch the money, so to everyone who keeps saying Larry B. was out for the money, the man makes a decent living, it is true he isn't a millionaire, but to his credit he has been stating he is the father from day one, nobody knows whether Anna Nicole would have ever received a dime of Marshall's money. Anna was not living high on the hog as so many people think, she was in debt, and purchased a lot of things on credit, and by selling her daughter out to the tabloid media.

I also liked Anna Nicole but I did not like the fact she was throwing her life away, using drugs and not being a good parent to Daniel by a lot of her lifestyle choices. I do believe she loved both of her children dearly and may have been diluted in thinking that she was doing all of this for them and there was nothing wrong with her lifestyle.

Who knows if Anna's suicide attempts were due to extreme grief, guilt or both...

Okay....so if they are so dissapointed in Annna chocice, why do they want her money which she made through her obvious bad choice..they didnt want her family for a reason, they dont love her...the sister had the audacity to say that Howard is responsible for not taking care of them probably..to which I say wher etheheck was teh sister, if she cared so much, why not go help her when her son died...her family is a huge dissapoinemtn and so i sLarry birkhead and his delusionla idea of Aana wanting a live wiht him..he is releasing statments and video clip..get a life alrady, Larry, she didnt want you either.

Larry Birkhead is makign a spectacle of himslef,..Anna siad several times, she DOES NOT WANT HIM..the realtionship was over, so wher ethe heck doe she get over syaing, the life htey wished for themselve...waht a stalkarazzi..who the heck is birkhead anyway.....I think the best that the judge can dlo is to make sure that whoever gets custody , would not be the smae person taking care of Anna finances, that way if you want the child, you choul be able to raise it with your own money, then when she turns 25, whe can have her mother estate and use it for wahtever she wants.

1. Where is her will and what does it say about guardian ship of the baby?? You know she had one after all the legal crap she has been through over the years.
2. Who leaves their 5 mth old in the care of "close friends" for 5 days to go buy a boat??
3. Has grandma even SEEN this baby once??
