77. That poor girl! It isn't hard to figure out where all her troubles began now is it? No mother could make comments like that about their child dead or alive, she is trash, it's as simple as that! One thing this woman should realize, what you put out comes back to you, it may take a while but it WILL come back to you.

79. How can that women appear on national TV and bash her daughter after she just died. When my son died of an overdose at 39 I couldn't even speak his name for three years without crying. What kind of person is she? Sister I didn't even no she had a sister, funny how people come out of the woodwork..... too late.....She is at peace now and with her son whom I no she grieved deeply for. Watch over her Lord and Bless her and her babygirl and Daniel....

I'm not trying to talk trash about someone who can no longer defend themselves, but this talk about Anna Nicole Smith being another Marilyn Monroe (when SHE was another no-talent) is laughable.

The majority of obits were right: Anna was famous for being famous. People act like Playboy is this legitimate magazine when all women do is spread their legs in it. It's sad that in this day and age, men don't need to bare their dicks to get ahead.

That said, her mother needs to get bent, the sycophants need to go crawl back under their rocks, and people need to let this story rest.

Peoples' religious convictions aside, I wish Anna Nicole peace wherever she is now and I hope her daughter will be raised right (wish the grandmother would take her, but that would be asking for entirely too much on that selfish woman's part).

81. Virgie Arthur - I'm speechless. To go on national tv less than 24 hours after the death of your own flesh and blood and say horrible things about her - you are a cold and terrible person!!! Obviously Anna Nicole wasn't perfect - but WHO on this earth IS? You should've been a MOTHER to her and not just another person that made her life hell.

82. Why do you people revere Anna Nicole Smith so much? Is it because she died? We all die. I hope that this sort of bizarre respect for a completely irresponsible, gold-digging train wreck of a person will end by the time her body gets cold. This morning CNN had an article comparing her to Marilyn Monroe! You know what, Marilyn Monroe had talent, and had broad appeal to audiences of all ages and sexes. She is an icon of her time. If Anna Nicole is our icon, god help us. Anna Nicole was trashy, stupid, and in the last few years of her life, completely drugged out and incoherent. Marilyn wanted true love, was a closet intellectual, and was a lover of some of the brightest minds of her day, including Arthur Miller. She was deeply insecure and was actually quite shy, and eventually took her own life because she was unhappy with the fame she had attained. They both ODed on prescription drugs, but that's just about as far as the comparison goes.

Maybe she did die of an overdose! Who can really say what kind of a mental state she was in after all she has endured! I won't feel any less of her if she did, I think it is so very sad. 87. This story has broken my heart. Unfortunately, I know first hand how shockingly ugly 'family' members who should have your back the most can be in the worst situations. People actually do this. It is soul murder. You flee to save what is left before the body follows, but you are always marked, like with a slow bleeding wound that never really heals. Congratulations TMZ, you got a story, but at what price? You gave a microphone to a jealous Medean mother. Anna Nicole needed the love of the whole world, and even this was not enough to make up for the lack of a mother and siblings' love. Unfortunately, too often she saw her ugly reflection. Do not show this evil hag again.

90. Just so others know, this is not the first time Anna Nicole's mother has been on TV saying negative things about her daughter. I for example, saw her doing the same thing on a Nancy Grace show after the death of Anna's son. So this is not first time the mother has jumped on the media immediately after a death.
