Mayer Puts the Moves on Simpson

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer did not walk the red carpet together, but they did get up close and personal at the Sony/BMG Grammy after-party.

According to E!'s Marc Malkin, the new couple were seen kissing on the cheek, with John stroking Jess' back as he serenaded her with the '80s hit "Wishing Well" by Terence Trent D'Arby.

During the arrivals, Mayer evaded Ryan Seacrest's questions about their relationship by answering in Japanese. His comments translated to: "She is very beautiful and you are the last to know." Sayonara, Seacrest!

Although the duo seem to be getting hot and top-heavy, no word on if Mayer took home more than his two Grammys last night.

It is obvious to me, that she plays up the stupidity for the attention aspect.......her whole is this chicken or is this tuna, landed her a commercial.....I don't eat buffalo? What rock would she have been living under.....to not know that Buffolo wings were spicy chicken????

She has cashed in, marketed her stupidity.....and the public has all bought into it.....so, who's the idiot?

Besides, a woman without substance....wouldn't be able to roll with a guy like John Mayer....no matter how hot she is.....he is a stand up guy, and I don't think he would compromise himself.....not in an artistic sense....or for a piece of ass......

Nick on the other hand, would sell his mother for some money- loser that he is......I hope Vanessa gave him an STD......lord knows she has to have some vile disease......

17. If ever a phony couple existed, it's those two. John is smart to use her for publicity to promote his album/tour but anyone with f***ing EYES can see that he is so not into her. She looks like a drag queen on a good day. Of course, she might be feeding into John's fetish for dudes so more power to them. Either way, it's rare that one can honestly say that John Mayer looks better than Jessica Simpson. She is bent beyond any repair!!

20. They do not make a cute couple. They are so opposite. The sex can only hold him for so long. What will happen then. Only time will tell. It's not about the music anymore. 26. regardless of what they think of each other, or why they are using each other (he for PR & her for attention, not being associated with a guy nicer looking than herself) - what HE needs to be aware of is that he does NOT date nor answer to the daughter, he dates & answers to her DAD. HE is the manipulator of all time, the master controller of all that his daughters do & with whom. so, if john mayer is not prepared to become a puppet for daddy simpson, he'd better get that way soon, or she/he will dump him!!
