226. I think it is great to hear that Michael will be appearing on American Idol. Even though, lots of people from around the world living here in America voices their opinion so wrongly without fact. Only hearing by the media all of the negative things. Michael is a great artist & I wish him the best of luck. I am looking forward in watching this episode. I love American Idol.

230. hmmmm ok where do i start......first off mj like or not has major talent....i do think he needs help... as far as the molestation charges do i think he is guilty.....i can honestly say im not sure....i think he is more guilty of letting himself be taken advantage of.....another thing what parents are letting their kids sleep over his house...and why do we not look at them in disgust....its a cruel world and people will do anything for money......but on another note.....we keep jackson in the media and call him names and call him sick over and over.... but does anyone even think about the priests who have actually admitted to molesting young boys...why do they not stay in the media....? and as far as reading the comments left personally they made me sick....yelling go back to africa.....are you kidding me its seems that we have all forgotten that almost everyone posting ancestors came to america at one point from another place..... me being a NATIVE AMERICAN find it funny how a person can say go back somewhere when in reality they themselves came on a ship.....guess what were all american white black green blue red yellow brown.... it doesnt matter.... why not focus on on the bigger picture then just looking at skin tones.... bigger things are going on in the world and we should be sticking together......my 2 cents

231. Hi again "Absolutely Black"... Thanks for clarifying your stance. I agree there plenty of closet racists out there. As a Jewish American (albeit white), I have encountered my share of people who make stupid comments like "I got Jewed" or "Jew me" (coincidentally, just like Michael Jackson has gone on record doing!), so I understand. Sorry if I came off defensive in the first post.

My main argument was simply that I believe that people who think the world are out to get them, can be dangerous to themselves and others. Second, that people who tend to spew or have racial hatred tend to be less educated and therefore less of a threat to the prosperity of you and I, as an African American and a Jewish American, respectively. This argument was one that an earlier poster stated probably more eloquently than I, even posting a link to some stats on it (I need to go back and find that).

Anyway, I hope there comes a day when the stereotypes and misguided hate because of our age, race, religion, sex, color, national origin, etc. will be a thing of the past.

235. Micheal is a great performer, but under the circumstances I would not want to see him on American Idol. Although he was never convicted, he is guilty. Just because those kids parents saw dollar signs when it went down, doesnt mean those kids aren't scarred for life. Why try to make him something he is not, anymore. Carma is a bitch.

I will not deny that our country's legacy of slavery early on, but not all whites were slave-traders/owners, and many whites died to help end the horrible practice. I, like the majority of whites alive today, did not descend from the slave-traders, we came here in the last 150 years.

Anyway, I wish you continued success as you are a prime example of how ANYONE can make their dreams happen if they have they drive, determination, and (usually) brains. Just please spare us from the evil white man schtick... we're not all inbred racists from Ole Miss.

Most blacks do nothing but complain about what the system is NOT doing for them, instead of what THEY can do for the system. Nothing gets you respect like respecting yourself first.
