Will Wacko Jacko Bring Glove to "Idol"?

JackoCourtney Love on "American Idol" -- intriguing. Michael Jackson on "Idol" -- shocking!

It could happen, though, if certain hints dropped by "Idol" producers are to be believed. Realitytvmagazine.com reports that "several signs" point to the possibility that Michael Jackson will have his own "Idol" theme-week, and might even "mentor" the impressionable young talent on the show.

Why all the Jackson buzz? First of all, "Idol" producers have hinted for weeks at a "big event show" during this season. Also, reports have swirled that Jackson has turned to "Idol" creator Simon Fuller to help revive his flagging career, perhaps involving a comeback show in Las Vegas. Finally, in a recent conference call, executive producer Nigel Lythgoe explained the show's impenetrable wall of silence around contestants, and used Jackson as an example, saying they wouldn't want it to "slip out with somebody telling their mom that Michael Jackson is coming."

241. I am not sure how realistic we are being when we say race don't matter. In this country race is a pivitol factor in our daily lives. For example there has never been a US president that was not white. There has only been a hand full of people of color in congress since the beginning of the established United States. Still relatively few black (or other) governors of state. I believe what makes race an ungoing issue is the fact that it is not openly and honestly talked about. People usually fear what they dont understand. We as people need to take a deep look at what's motivating those crass outburst of negativety and racism. As per the issue of Michael Jackson the media has coin the term wacko jacko and it is dishearting to see how easy it was and still is for some of us to jump on the band wagon and perpetuate this gross disrespect of another human being. To feel the intensity and anger from these comments leads me to think that there is something dark and painfull in these individuals psychi that are the true motivating force and has less to do with Micheal Jackson than the are willing to admit . Just like love, hate has a way of coloring ever aspect of one's life whether you intend it to or not. PEACE

242. I don't believe people are still harping on this. I guess you believe what you will. I am a strong believer in our judicial system. It's not about class, it's not about race, it's not about religion. The fact is, as FIERCE as technology is today, You best believe if Michael Jackson had touched ONE kid, boy or girl, he'd be in jail. No IF's AND's or BUT's about it. it's a fact. He was found NOT GUILTY, so please let this man just LIVE his life. How could you have such strong opinions for someone you don't even know. The media has made you THINK you know him when in actuality, you only know an IMAGE. NOT the MAN. Stop voicing views about a person you only know through CONTROLLED media Reports. It just makes you all sound like idiots who cannot think for yourself. NOT calling you an idiot, but just am not digging your actions or remarks on a man that NON of us know personally. The media can make ANY thing seem real. If you hear a lie long enough you start to believe it. If you've ever seen the move "The Fugitive" you can see how things can get screwed up in a persons life. Well Mr. Jackson is no different, just because things SEEM to be a certain way, doesn't mean they ARE that way. He's very different we all know that. But which of you can say you've lived your life since age 7, with your EVERY MOVE being recorded by strange people you don't know. Not one of you. So i don't think any of us can understand this mans life. Just leave him alone please. This is so old and over with. The man was found NOT guilty people. Live with it and respect your judicial systems and the courts evidence or lack thereof.

243. Hey "gitalife"... Please don't lie to make a point. Only teenagers type using that sort of shorthand.

You probably make $12 per hour and work in a warehouse, if that!

244. MJ has returned to the states because he no longer fears the litigation that he once faced. THAT is why he fled to Bahrain. The boy he PAID OFF moved to Europe because of the attention, and because of that the DA office that was going to go after MJ can no longer do so. Those that continue to deny (or even consider) that he could be guilty are simply biased because they are either huge fans or they incorrectly believe that race is involved here.

By the way, does anyone remember when he was caught last year on camera purposely entering a ladies' room wearing a burka?

Sorry, this once amazingly talented man has become a walking joke.

245. Geezzz! Still alota of angry people. The topic ( what kind of crakers we like to eat) was lost LONG AGO and we have swayed far away. Maybe we should ask MJ what kind of crackers he likes. I like you all, but you've gotta get a grip on that anger issue. Then, maybe we can get some Cheeze Whiz, a couple of Steve Guttenberg DVDs, and come over to my place for a rousing game of Hungry Hungry Hippos (the drinking version).

...Word Unto Thy Mother. :)

246. um Ellie,

Sorry but no you are not! And actually if that is all you gathered from my posting then maybe you are spending too much time trying to be in then the real issue at hand. I am reading these entries and we have totally left the issue of MJ appearing on Idol. I guess when faced with seeing a "use to be" black performer slip youo guys want to send them back to their race, no such luck you wanted both him and OJ and now you are stuck with them for life. The black community has revoked their passes so sorry no refunds! Now as far as jackson being on Idol, though there was a time when he was talented (i am guity of owing several records) he sounds like a whinning cat to me now and as far as lyrics what the hell was he saying in some of his songs anyway. I'd rather see a white boy who I can understand anyday. Just please no more Barry manilow or Elton John.

250. First of all - Michael Jackson is the best artist to walk on this darn planet. I hope he does appear on American Idol. He derserves a comeback.
Second of all - You can't prove he molested any kid. You people are just believing in gossip. I want you to prove he is a pedophile.

I hope he appears on there.

251. Well ---- The guy from Gary Indiana is back. Michael should back down from show biz for a while. He's old and only his past is memorable and worth any thing.
