78. Anna's wishes should be carried out and who knows her wishes more other than Howard Stern? Nobody. So many comments are made based on rumor and not fact. Howard has been committed to her for so long and he knows what she wants and what she doesn't want. He is innocent until proven guilty. This is America people!!!

85. Why should her mother get her remains? ANS was estranged from her and did not include her in her life. I feel ANS died as a result of having a fever of 105, not being taken to a hospital and probably died in her sleep after having convulsions from such a high fever and being alone. The nurse did not discover her until quite a bit of time had elapsed. The coroner said she did not die from excessive drugs in her body. Anyone with such a high fever left untreated could easily die...especially someone like her who had a very compromised immune system due to the stress she was under and her drug and alcohol intake.

86. According to the law (and what the public knows), it would seem her mother would legally be the next of kin thus may claim the body. This all remains to be seen however as we do not know what type of legal arrangements Ms. Smith had with Mr. Stern. As far as Mr. Stern having anything to do with either death indeed needs to be investigated, but it seems Stern has already been tried and convicted by the media and by the public. Ms. Smith has had a rich public history of being under the influence of substances and her death may very well be a consequence of her habits. Unfortunately no one knows anything conclusive, so to say someone deserves to die without knowing the facts is irresponsible, unjust, and flat out un-American.

87. First of all, u people who get on here with your smartass opion should keep them to yourself, The women is dead and does deserve respect!! If you dont like her go to a diffrent website!............................as for HKS i have never cared for him, he always seem to me to be sneaky, and now I know why.
As for taking her body back to Texas, I think her mother should really think about that, I think Anna would be very upset not being buried next to Daniel and her mother has to realize that. Unless they take Daniel's body there too.
I have been a fan of Anna's for along time, it is really sad that this all had to happen to her, I hope she finds the peace that she has been longing for and her & Daniel has reunited in the heavens above. I am hoping Howard or Larry isnt the father of this little girl........................I dont know what to even say where I hope the baby will end up, my opion is none of them should get her. I am hoping the couple who own trimspa would try for custody. Its all so sad.

89. Waiting to determine exactly who the "next of kin" is? Well, since a 5 or 6 month old infant can't possibly make decisions like this - and since ANS assisted her 20 year old son in killing himself - wouldn't that leave the dead skanks mother as the next of kin?

90. They are really foolish to let them embalm the body, especially if there is going to be a wrongful death claim which there undoubtedly will be. Embalming will destroy the toxicology and HKS will get away with it. I think that coroner is on the take too. He really seems biased towards HKS. A refrigerated body does not decompose in a weeks time.
