Hearing Over Anna's Body

31. I am no fan of ANS nor her mother. However, after viewing the hearing I was sickened to see all the joking and disrespect going on. It was a three ring circus, very unprofessional and downright insensitive to those that might have cared about her. The doctor clearly states he has more than enough DNA material samples and the rest of the lawyers are just trying to drag things out so they can charge their clients extra for their services. This is just so sick!!

32. I cannot tolerate watching that disgraceful mother wiping her eyes - please bitch - as if you care! If she had a slither of caring for her daughter, why not say that she wants the body released to her, BUT that she will honor Anna's wishes and have her buried in the Bahamas next to Daniel????

33. After watching some of the proceedings, I couldn't help but see the stench eminating from the room. The whole circus is a case study why many people hate lawyers with their crude, callous, petty and interuptive behavior. They're still the worst of bottom dwellers.

Hey Sheila - that's why the Judge is a Judge and you are not. Depending on the type of samples, where and how they were taken, the testing to be donw [EAP or PCR for example] DNA amplification, etc...

a buccal [pertaining to the mouth, oral] swab is no big deal and that's what the Judge has ordered to be done as well as establishing the chain of custody pertaining to the evidence.

36. We know they have more then enough samples.....that is NOT the question. I believe they have not been tampered with and are as pure as any other samples they may collect. ON THE OTHER HAND. Because of the shady dealings of ANS, HKS and those around them, I can understand why Birkheads side is so concerned that they may try to mess with the results/bait switch what ever you would like to call it. REMEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Once this test is done, Larry will have NO grounds to request it be done again. They are only concerned with the chain of command and that this is indead a sample from the corpse of the mother. That is all!

You don't know squat to make a judgement about the relationship between Smith and the "disgraceful" mother. After seeing Smith's misguided judgement about her own life, there is a good chance she did the same about her Mom. However, maybe you have some inside info we're not privy to.

39. For cripes sake, I'll be the damn judge. Do a paternity test with Larry, HKS, and whomever else ASAP. Give the baby to her real father. Release ANS to her mother (Vergie's wish) with a stipulation that ANS is to be buried in the Bahamas next to her son (HKS wish). Vergie and crew sit on one side of the service and Howie and Co. sit on the other. No one talk to the other side. Pay your respects and bury her. And for the love of all things holy, quit arguing over every little detail so as to get the last "Ummphhh" on the other party and do what's right by the baby and ANS body.

40. She does have a will and Howard is the executor of that will. It was drawn up in 2001. Daniel was to be the only beneficiary, with Howrd as executor of the will as well as Daniel's legal guardian.

43. My goodness! I cannot believe this mess! I hope he doesn't let her mother bury her, because she has no intentions of burying her next to her son Daniel. That is so wrong! What kind of mother would not fulfill her daughters wishes good grief! I dont know much about the relationship with her and Anna but from what I hear, I can understand why she had nothing to do with her mother.
