Without an attorney to represent you in Court, you have no legal standing. It is as if you didn't exist. Those who wish legal standing to protect their rights and interests must of necessity have an attorney to represent them.

You can't just barge into a hearing or trial and think your opinion has any legal weight. It's nothing to do with billing extra hours.

Now as to Dr. Perper's comments regarding samples. He stated at the hearing that was broadcast live he had samples of various types: oral swabs, blood, bone and bone marrow... as well as urine and stomach content...among other things...

At an autopsy, many different samples are taken for toxicological, biological, chemical and other tests. Samples can only be stretched so far... and then you need more.

Dr. Perper stated he can do another buccal swab as it would take a matter of 10 seconds. It is simply taking a sterile Q-tip like tool and rubbing the inside of the mouth to extract cells. The swab is then placed in a sterile tube with one of a number of preservatives.

Mitochondrial cells can determine a blood [familial] relationship through the maternal DNA.

47. I agree she needs to be buried by her son, and if her mother gets the body, I trust she will do this.

But, understand folks, that body cant go anywhere until the criminal investigation and autopsy results are complete.

What's the point of releasing a body, if they have to exhumate it due to " murder". Anna's body will be buried when they determine is she was murdered or not!

I have no inside information, but watching the interviews that Anna has given, not just after Daniel died, but over the years, she has never had a close relationship with her mother.
The biggest thing for me is that Anna reached out to her mom when Daniel died and what did her "loving, caring" mother do. She didn't call her daughter to try console her - OH NO - she went on Nancy Grace to accuse Howard of killing Daniel.
I don't know, but I know that if God forbid, I had a traumatic thing happen in my life, my mother will drop everything to be by my side, regardless of the relationship we have . Why, because she is a mother, she loves unconditionally.
In my opinion and TBA this is what these comments are for - correct? - giving our opinions - if Virgie cares and loves her daughter, she should honor her wishes and bury her next to her son.
What reason does she have to bury her in Texas - She knows that Daniel was everything to Anna, everything!

51. mAYBE hOWARD DOESN'T WANT TO TAKE A DNA TEST, BECAUSE THERE MIGHT FIND DRUGS IN HIS BLOOD. Annas mother took care of Danny for years, so why would you believe Anna when she said her mother beat her, then why would she leave her son Daniel with her for years?

But Howard is not named as a beneficiary in the will. What could he gain by killing Daniel ? I believe, (and please anyone with legal knowledge correct me if I am wrong) - if Danilynn had not been born, wouldn't Anna's estate go to her next of kin, which would be her mother, not Howard?

53. Anna's mom should be allowed to bury her child. However, I believe the judge should order her mom buy her by her son Daniel in the Bahama's.

All of this is unbelievable and uncalled for. The judge should order all men claiming to be the father get DNA taken asap.

The Florida Judge and the Cali Judge should speak to each other and come to a conclusion according to the law and get this matter taken care of, immediately. The baby could be in danger if Howard KNOWS the baby is not his.

54. I believe that the baby should stay with Howard K. Stern,and that Anna's body should be relesed to him as well....Anna needs to be buried next to her son Daniel and I am sure that is what she wanted. Everyone keeps comming down on Howard and the problem with that lies here.....
1= He was ALREADY exectuer of Anna's estate, even before Daniel or Anna died
2= He really had nothing else to gain/ he already had the baby/ Anna/ Daniel/ ALL THESE TROUBLES/ BEFORE any of them died
3= SHE TRUSTED HIM/ and noone else"especially not that money grubbing hillbilly family of hers"
4=He is the only permanant person to be in her life for atleast the last three years
and if I were Anna, I would want people to respect what I wanted and not what They wanted. Where she should be laid to rest is in the Bahammas and no where else! I believe Howard had nothing to do with this/ if anything he is just as much a victim in this as anyone else/due to the fact that HIS life has been torn apart as well and he has lost two people that he was very close with/ close enough that Anna CHOSE to name Howard as her baby's daddy and NOONE else...people don't you think she had her reasons? 57. Wake up and smell the coffee here~! Finally someone is doing something about this...the judge is making sure the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed.

If Stern is not beneficiary to the estate he is still executor and as the father and legal guardian of Dannilynne, he can still live a lavish life. Remember Christina Onassis's daughter? The slimy father Thierry, who had left to marry another woman and have more kids, got custody of the ONassis child.

I think that that have not released Anna's body to Stern for more than one reason and the biggest reason is that the CAUSE OF DEATH HAS NOT BEEN ANNOUNCED OR DETERMINED. Why release a body to the probable murderer?

The body will be fine on ice for now. Just do the paternity, give Dannilynne back to her real and rightful father Larry Birkhead. Then, release Anna to her mother so she may bury her next to her lovely son Daniel. Send Stern and his army of evil minions to jail.

58. No one has mentioned that Howard was so CONTROLLING of Anna he would not even let her call her mother or answer the phone when any of Anna's relatives (sister, etc.) called her. It was HIS FAULT Anna was "estranged" from her relatives! He kept her doped up and manipulated her. He lived off her, and fed off her celebrity. I am willing to bet she NEVER slept with Howard Stern; she told her girlfriend he was "repulsive" to her. Also, if Howard and Anna were "lovers", then why did the Minister of Immigration spend hours ALONE IN THE BEDROOM with Anna for many days recently???? Howard was present when Daniel died, and most likely the one who gave him the fatal dose of Methadone. Also, he was the one who called and ordered all the drugs for Anna. he facilitated their deaths by providing the drugs. He needs to be arrested, along with the doctors who were writing the prescriptions so freely for drugs she had no business taking. A friend of mine was FibroMyalgia and hurts all over real bad, and after going to many doctors, one of them finally prescribed HydroMorphone (a synthetic Morphine) for her pain. That's what they found at Anna's, in addition to Methadone, which is killing people left and right and needs to be more tightly controlled by the FDA. Both of those make you an addict.
I wish they would rush the Paternity test so Larry can get custody of the baby and Howard can be prosecuted.

59. This whole situation is terribly tragic. These publicity seeking a**holes should not get any attention at all. Anna Nicole should be buried with her son and anyone
who loves her would know that. Her mother is a bitch. Anna did not want anything to do with her. Anna wanted nothing to do with the woman. Mother, and I use the term loosely, or not, she has no right to her body. Let the poor woman rest in peace. I just hope that paternity is established soon so that that Dannielynn can have a family. This situation is insane. Anna is dead and there's a little girl who doesn't have a mother. How hard is it to find out who the dad is? Maybe they should all go on Maury.

60. Howard Stern is a manipulator and a leach who has riden on Anna's coattails and lived off her all these years. He got her the drugs that killed her. He enabled her! If he really loved her, he would have seen that she got clean when she was pregnant. I dare say, he never got to sleep with her. I think he kept her doped up and got her to agree to a "commitment" ceremony, and later a wedding, telling her he would protect her and DannieLynn from Larry Birkheart. When people are on drugs, they can easily be manipulated. The entire saga is very sad.
