62. You know, Larry Birkhead has been trying to get this taken care of before Anna died. Doesn't that show or count for something? He isn't just after this lil girl for the money....he truly wants to be her "daddy" and I think he is. That lil' girl looks nothing like Howard K Stern (thank GOD) and he just wants the baby for the money that she could possibly inherit. Why else would you be scared to have a paternity test and claim that somebody broke into a house that isn't yours and stole stuff that wasn't yours? He is GAY anyways....he didn't really love Anna, he loved the money and the attention that she brought him. He was her lil pee on that bowed down to her every demand. I think he played a very BIG part in all of this.
He got the call that something happened before the police knew or responded to Anna...he was conviently gone so he wasn't there with her when she died so he wouldn't look like a suspect. They just need to investigate the doctors that gave them the drugs and have a different autopsy doctor review her body becasue I think this medical examiner is working close to Howard. Why else would he be in such a rush to give the body back?????? Something stinks about all of this and it isn't Anna's decaying body. TAKE THE TEST HOWARD AND REALLY PROVE THAT YOU ARE THE FATHER AND IF YOU AREN'T THEN I HOPE YOU HAVE REALLY GOOD LAWYERS OUT THERE TO PROTECT YOU WHEN YOU GET CHARGED WITH MURDER OF ANNA AND DANIEL.......

63. It would be nice IF the judge could release her body to her mother with the stipulation that it MUST be buried in the bahamas pursuant to her obvious wish to be buried near her son.

I would hate for HK$ to win this legal argument and establish a precedent. HE WILL MAKE A DEAL with Entertainment tonight to Televise the funeral most likely and HE SHOULD BE STOPPED from further profitting.

PATERNITY must be immediately established and in the interim she should be placed in a neutral party's care...even with the fired babysitter. btw her affadavit was SCARY and filed 2 months before ANS died.

THE BAHAMAS NEEDS TO REVOKE his guardianship ASAP.
Howie almost got it all...what he thought was harmless enabling so he could control him cost her her life and prevented him from realizing his dream. He should have let her choose him SOBER. And his family and sister in particular are just ridiculous...cannot believe people give them airtime. They are his spin machine.

also re: any purported money hopefully ANS set up a trust for danielyn...she gets the trust Marshall set up for Daniel...and that NO father has too much control of that. Old man marshall did NOT want ANS to have half his fortune...likely some reasonable amount but not half. She completely blew him off once they were married and showed up when she needed something. He WISED UP and after a few MONTHS of the marriage had the bulk of his estate placed in TRUST...to protect it from her VULTURE claws. Sadly...she may end up in the hands of a vulture stern...who will pimp her out in death as in life...so sad

hoping birkhead gets the baby and moves to iowa or some place in the midwest to shield her.

64. More T R A I N W R E C K S...

I do think ANS needs to be buried next to her son, but I must say that all of her decisions in the last [decade or so] year seem to have been pretty bad, due to her drug addled, mentally ill state. Her decision to bury him in the Bahamas seems to be an emotional response to all of the trainwreckedness in her life, trying to escape reality and the huge messes she created. She obviously saw it as a place to run away and escape to, to make a new, fresh start, yet she invited the press and more drama there, as attention and drama were irresistible to this drugged, ill woman.

I also think her hateful words about her mother are entirely the result of her drug problems and stunted emotional maturity - maybe V wasn't PerfectMom, but ANS did let her raise her "beloved" son for many years. That speaks volumes. I think her mom is a pretty straight shooter and "tells it like it is", as many people working in law enforcement for that long tend to do. They have seen all of the worst of the worst and don't sugar coat the facts anymore. Drug abusers usually push away and run away from the people that don't enable them and remind them they are screwing up, as ANS did to her mom. Yet, when her son died, she needed to talk to her own mom.

All that said, perhaps her mom has a master plan to bury ANS and her son in their home state of Texas. I tend to think if ANS had had some miraculous moment of clarity, she would have agreed it is where they belong.

Otherwise, burying her next to Daniel in the Bahamas would be the next best, right thing to do. I just don't think ANS's "wishes" were really what she would have wanted, had she not been SO messed up for the last year. A lot of her decisions were very immature, "cut off her nose to spite her face" kinds of decisions and this seems like one of them.

UGH at the whole sordid mess she made of her life and left behind for her poor little baby.

Anna is dead, regardless of who the father is, Stern stood by Anna for the last decade, he is the only man the baby knows, Birkhead is a bottom sucking idiot and Virgie is a psycho, limelight seeking scab on society who turned her back on her daughter until she became well known... the freak abused her and there was no relationship between the two... she needs to crawl back under the rock she slithered out from..... Anna overdosed, Stern did NOT kill her. When a person becomes addicted to opiates, there are no lengths they won't go to in order to get that next fix that the brain so desperately needs. Methadone needs to be taken off the market, the number of deaths attributable to it is overwhelming.... add it to the anti depressive meds that so many use and you have a recipe for death... it happened to my sister but she lived.... unfortunately the life she is living now is far removed from the life she lived prior to her accidental overdose.... it is understandable that there needs to be a scapegoat and in blaming howard stern it perpetuates the myth that a crime occured.... if blame is to be placed anywhere here, i personally would opine that the nurse companion needs to be questioned thoroughly as to her own whereabouts when this was occuring.... this didn't just happen immediately people, speaking from experience I would say that anna was left alone for over 5 hours.... where was the nurse during those hours? why wasn't she doing her job??????

67. Don't you wonder whose money Howard Stern is spending on all these lawyers he's hiring? Also, I think Entertainment tonight is wrong to air the "exclusive" high-dollar interviews with Stern, showing him with the baby and slanting the story in his favor. It was so one-sided last night, it made me scream at the t.v. Howard turned Anna against her family and kept them from calling her by constantly changing her phone numbers and other stuff. Her mother raised Daniel while she was dancing on the pole and during her courtship with the Billionaire. He was 6 or 7 when he went to live with Anna. Virgie was a deputy sheriff or police officer, not a low-life as some have said. She wanted Anna to get off drugs; that's why they argued. What is wrong with that?

68. 51. For cripes sake, I'll be the damn judge. Do a paternity test with Larry, HKS, and whomever else ASAP. Give the baby to her real father. Release ANS to her mother (Vergie's wish) with a stipulation that ANS is to be buried in the Bahamas next to her son (HKS wish). Vergie and crew sit on one side of the service and Howie and Co. sit on the other. No one talk to the other side. Pay your respects and bury her. And for the love of all things holy, quit arguing over every little detail so as to get the last "Ummphhh" on the other party and do what's right by the baby and ANS body.



I totally agree with you. Why not take DNA on differnet days from ALLLLLLL of them men claiming to be her father and why not have the judge watch the medical examiner take the DNA so he knows its good and not something they can'[t use and why not determine who the real father is. We (the public) already know its probably the many who has been trying to get custody or paternity of her since the day she was born....Larry. Not Howard and not this Prince crap who didn't say anything until he learned about how much money could be linked to this baby. The judge just needs to say this is how it is, if you don't take the paternity test you don't get the baby and you don't get a say in the body.

69. You Go Judge! He got a mess.....and seems to be starting at the bottom and working his way up. He`s trying to keep the babys interest up front. I hope he orders sleezy, phony Howie`s spit, because we all know its worthless, as he is. C`mon people, Larry wanted this baby BEFORE any money was involved. Wake up. SOMEONE conceived this baby, and I`m in Larrys court, all the way. He has the most class and common sense of all of them. As a footenote... my 19 yr old son died in my arms, I didn`t drug myself up or jump in a swimming pool, God got me thru it. I chose good people to surround myself with. Choices have consequences! She should have listened to her mother a long time ago, listening to her Howie was her demise.

70. Tawnya - most people close to drug abusers have very few choices. They can ignore it; they can become enablers (like Howard); they can try to make the abuser aware of their problems and choices (and get pushed away and bad mouthed) and/or they can finally sit back and let nature takes its course, since a drug and alcohol abuser has to WANT to get help. It seems ANS's mother did the last 2 - let her daughter know she needed help (and was pushed away), then sat back until (wishfully) ANS finally wanted to change.

Unfortunately, as is the case with many drug abusers, ANS died before wanting change. One of my best friends that I went through a similar thing with ended up in jail for a very long time. A few drug abusers do manage to see the error of their ways and ask for help and recover, but not enough. Its the sad, risky part of drug abuse.

As for the yawning, I would imagine she is worn out after the week from hell she's had. I would be.

72. This is all so tragic. Does anyone else find it sickening that Howard K has had camera crews in Anna's home filming his"reunion" with Anna's baby? For God's sake! Why on earth wouldn't he want some privacy at this time of grieving? OH, and now that we all know about this "supposed" break-in at Anna's house, what's next? Hmmmm, let me think....will we be seeing some private sex tapes some time soon? Howard can pretend that someone stole it while he makes millions off it! That way, when he loses custody of the baby to her REAL father, he'll still be able to collect the millions he has obviously been after all along! What a coincidence that all of her personal papers, video tapes, etc. weren't kept in a safe or some place where they couldn't have been so easily stolen! Anna was obviously ill before her death so why the heck didn't the man who professes to have loved her so much make sure that she was getting treatment? I guess it was easier for him to choose the option of enabling her to keep taking the drugs that would eventually kill her! If the court finds it to be true that Howard gave meth to Anna's son Daniel....... need I say more? Rest In Peace, Anna.

I do have a job - thank you for being concerned as to my financial well being. My background is in law enforcement as are other members of my family: cops and PIs. Today is one of my days off.

. ..I know what I'm talking about even if you don't and pretend that you do. If you are so 'educated' then you'd have known that what I've written is true to law enforcement, forensics and legal proceedings.

Go take a pill and watch the Y&R. It's more your speed.

75. I like the judge, he could have his own "reality" show. He is trying to buy time, that is plain to see. I cannot imagine being someone's mother, a mother of a deceased person, sitting there with listening to all these and attorneys and the judge casually talking about my child's body and issues like discussing what they had for lunch that day, without just losing it. Vergie must be on sedatives. There is no way I could sit there and listen to all that. Talk about biting a bullet? But I can see why Tunstall would have Vergie there because after a couple of days looking eyeball to eyeball with that woman, I think the judge will have some idea who he should really release the body to. I give Vergie 10 points for just sitting there in those proceedings listening to all of that. What conclusions the judge draws from that, who knows, but I would think he has concluded some things from that. Litigants being there in person can help em or hurt em.
