Rocker/survivor Melissa Etheridge and her partner Tammy Lynn Michaels took their tiny twins, Johnnie Rose and Miller Steven out for a stroll on tony Montana Avenue in Santa Monica on Thursday.
The twins, conceived through an anonymous sperm donor, were born in October. Etheridge has two children with former partner Julie Cypher, who conceived with sperm provided by rock legend David Crosby.

Breast milk is a part of every day life for mom's with babies. Accept it. It's not dirty. It's nourishment for children. Breast milk and pizza...neither one is a dirty word.
Her son's neck was just fine for the few minutes he was in the stroller. At no time was he left unattended. Both his mommies were there watching over him.
Oh and just so you know. Her vocabulary with her children does not consist of the "nasty" words as you described them. Her blog is a place where she can vent about nuts like you and speak of any other thoughts she may have. Being an (I'm assuming here) adult with very negative words to say about her, I'm sure you can very well appreciate/handle the "nasty" words she has to say/use in her blogs. If you do not appreciate her blogs, then do not read them. See how easily you can simplify your life when you take that which upsets you out of it?
It's funny how you think you can speak in a negative, nasty mouthed manner but you nix Tammy on the idea of doing it herself. Is it because you forget that she is human too? Does the idea that she is famous and not you inflame you to a point that you see her only as "something" and not "someone"?
Now again, hush up because you're only making yourself look foolish by being jealous over a woman who really can't have that much impact on your life.
I'm sorry you're so upset that Melissa chose to marry Tammy and not you. But that's reality. Sometime we just can't have what we want. (Yes, I assumed again, but you really do come off as a scorned individual who was hoping to get Melissa for yourself).
Please find some peace in your life. Life is too short to be so upset by the words of another who is not a part of your everyday life. I say this with the utmost compassion because you just seem so sad and angry.

Being in a gay male relationship with my partner for 16 years ,I dont think I gave any praises to Etheridge in my posts,that is another gay myth...you dont want to sleep with ever gay person!!...I do sing praises for all gays that give out a moral and decent lifestlye to the straight public...and a very hard opion on those making the life style look unclean for children and lower our family units..breast milk like sex, isnt dirty unless you make it that way!....all is said ....

Being gay is hard enough in private with the population siding toward straight!
being gay in the public eye opens you up for more then the average amount of negative feedback in regard to your choices in life!

I was a gay basher,I protested against gay rights and went with churches to protest gay events and even got people not to rent and some thrown out for being gay in my neighborhood. I wouldnt allow my children to play with kids with gay parents or those who defended it!
One day,God changed my life by sending someone who had such a gentle,kind, spirit that I COULDNT PISS OFF!

Tammy has fans in foreign countries and I am one of them.
I have seen her shows and she IS a good actress. I like her blogs and what she writes. Tammy is sweet, she is down to earth and she does not take anything she has for granted.
You on the other hand sound like a flamming queen full of ENVY that somebody has what you want and obviously dont have: fame and money!
Your rantings about Tammy Etheridge dont exactly put you in a very positive light and they have done nothing to dent MY impression of Tammy as a sweet, sincere, intelligent, honest and above all, real person.

I dont share your belief in Christ, but I respect that your belief is important to you. I too, have every right to ask the same level of respect form you.

Just now really took a look at the photos posted of Etheridge and her twins!
those are alful photos and it was very mean to do that to anyone!
thats very mean to just snap photos of people off guard,thats rude for anyone to do! they are posted next to cruise and alot of other famous planned baby shots!...how cruel!...I would be pissed to!! then run them next to dressed up stars and their baby!!

These people need to be given a LOT more credit than they have been. Here's 2 people that WANTED to have children and had to take EXTRA steps to do so. These kids are very lucky in that they were WANTED, PLANNED and will be very loved and taken care of. But because they are lesbians, they get bashed.
How can this be worse than sooooo many other hetero's who have children out of one night stands or bad unloving relationships etc.
The most important thing is that they have loving parents.
And one more thing...I am sure everyone who has kids has done something they 'shouldn't have' or that others thought they shouldn't have done. Let's all get down off of our ego trips. Just be glad that your every move isn't scrutinized by the world.

I am liberal to a point but two lesbians raising little boy babies is fucked up. Obviously when these babies grow up they will wind up on a psych couch or worse. It is basically a heterosexual society and I can only imagine what will happen to these poor kids when they get to be teenagers.

To be honest the picture is a little scary. It's not as bad as having the baby in the front seat of the car while driving, give them a chance, they just got started,lets wait and see what happens next. first of all its NOT twin BOYS its a boy and a girl!!second of all who are we to judge them? Melissa and Tammy are already moms and they do better than some of the straight couples. then theyre is something called privacy! I don't care who the father of the babies is, As long as theyre healthy and in a loving family, and omg that they are! I am gay myself and me and my wife are raising a son, and he is more happy now then he ever was!! He tells us all the time, that he is proud to have two moms!! So I think you people (with the narrow minds) need to grow up, and wake up and step into the year 2007 and accept that straight people aren't rulling the world anymore!! I love Tammy and Melissa!
