Paris Bombed in Vienna

Paris Hilton had to abort an autograph session in Vienna after cigarette packs and lipsticks were hurled at the globetrotting celebutante, who was quickly waltzed out by security.

"Stars Are Blind" can be heard playing in the backgroud as unruly onlookers began assaulting Paris with sundry projectiles. Paris is in Austria to attend the Vienna Opera Ball, Austria's society event of the year.

Hilton is the guest of Richard Lugner, a 74-year-old married construction magnate who invites a different celeb to be his date each year. His previous guests have included "Spice Girl" Geri Halliwell, Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra.

For those of you who can't read European coverage go to Yahoo news or any other mainstream media - Paris Hilton was the belle of the ball with her parents.

Paris looked STUNNING in a gold Roberto Cavali gown.

50. It's the haters who are having the problems, Insanity being one of them.

The press also mentioned that Paris seemed bored but she said the next day at a press conference that she enjoyed the ball. Her mom said it was so crowded on the dance floor that there was not enough room.

BTW, if you can find the pic of Kathy and Rick Hilton together you will like it. Kathy wore beautiful jewelry and and an amazing gown with fabric flowers in the skirt ,and Rick wore a tux. They all looked quite stunning.

The president of Germany with his wife and the president of Austria with his life partner were also at the event. The press coverage in Europe was indeed good.

58. If this had been done to anyone else BUT Parisite I would think it very poor behaviour - but she just totally deserves it like no other celebrity. I'm sure at one time or another Parisite herself has lobbed an object or two at someone, so it is Karma.

And Maria is not being totally honest - live entertainment commentators noted that she was yawning, bored, and kept playing with her crackberry. Not exactly a raving success! Richard Lugner was just being polite - he says the same thing every year about each of his guests.
