"View's" Demise Greatly Exaggerated

Rumors are swirling anew that morning TV's biggest girl-group -- Rosie, Elisabeth, Joy and Barbara of "The View" -- are breaking up the band. But TMZ has learned that it's just not true.

According to an In Touch report, the yenta denizens of "The View" might be set to go their separate ways -- O'Donnell to her own show when her contract ends in June, Hasselbeck back to E! network to host a "style" show, and most oddly of all, Behar into the hosting chair currently occupied by former "View" moderator Meredith Vieira on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." Vieira is reportedly signed through the 2008 season of "Millionaire." In Touch didn't specify what might happen to den mother Walters.

But a rep for "The View" put the speculation to rest. The report is "completely false" and that there's "no truth in any of that whatsoever."

31. It has been really great to watch the View this week without Rosie. She is such and bully. I hate to watch now because she has taken over and talks so loud over everyone else, you can't hear what anyone is saying but fat ass Rosie.

32. That is very disappointing news. Now that Rosie has joined The View the show is in the gutter. I was so hoping it would be taken off the air. Oh, God please, supersede the executives at ABC and take this show off the air.

34. Barbara Walters is and always has been a classy lady. If she would take back control of that show, her life, her choices, we would see the lady we once knew and respected. I never in my life thought she would sell out herself for ratings. She has made some bad choices but it's not too late. Get off that show or get some of the others off. (Rosie) who cares. She is brash, rude, crass, nasty and about anything else I could think of. I cannot believe Walters would associate herself or allow herself to be associated with the likes.

35. Plz someone tell me who put Rosie O'Donnell in charge? How is it that she, and Joy, think they can treat Elisabeth so badly and so condescendingly? I just can't bear it - each week I try to tune in once to see how things are going and I am continually reminded of why I cannot stand Rosie. I wanted to throw the remote at the TV today and I have never ever felt that like.
And if Al Gore were a republican, promoting a green-life, she would have been all over that! but since he is a democrat it is some how okay for him to have a huge electrical bill and then tell the rest of us to cut back. Rosie completely dismissed this and made fun of Elisabeth........I just cannot believe this. Does anyone agree with me?
