Ray Liotta Busted -- Goodfella Allegedly a Badfella

Ray LiottaActor Ray Liotta was arrested Saturday night after crashing his vehicle into several parked cars. LAPD officers cuffed the actor and took him in for driving under the influence. Preliminary reports show the substance which Liotta was allegedly under was not alcohol.

According to police, Liotta was driving a Cadillac Escalade at the time and hit two parked cars -- one of which was struck so hard that it ended up on the curb. No one was hurt in the incident, which occurred in the ritzy Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles.

Liotta was released just after midnight Sunday morning on $15,000 bail. A court hearing has been set for March 19.

34. Poster #21 ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. I can already hear the celebrity courtroom doors swinging open with a judge in the back round saying "You're such a bad boy. Now go pay your $20 fine, do your at home unsupervised community service and can I have an autograph?" I think there should be a Federal review of how regular people are treated vs. celebrities. There is such an outright and perverse sense of justice here I'm waiting for the next O.J. case. Wait until that nut head Phil Spector gets his televised trial for murder going.

38. If I lived in the L.A. area, there's no way I would drive after dark for fear that I would be killed by a wacked-out celebrity.

43. Good for Ray. It couldn't happen to a better weasel. I first knew Ray from University of Miami back in 1975/1976 when he was still a fledgling jerk. A sh*t-sneak with a pizza face, a streak of arrogance and a bad dream. Even then it was clear to those of us who were perceptive that Ray would live up to our expectations.
Seeing Ray again in New York City in the late 1970s his progress was evident. Having developed into a pock-marked nasty a**hole he was well on his way in fulfilling his aspirations. Los Angeles in 1985 was Ray's defining moment. His agent had worked to boost his career in landing him a role in "Wild At Heart", his first feature film. Ray showed his grateful appreciation and thanks by leaving for a big name agency that takes orders and fields offers. Dropping her and nearly putting her small agency out of business was her reward from Ray. He may have shocked and damaged her, but it was no surprise here. In fact quite expected by those who had witnessed the arc Ray had been on. He achieved everything his potential had promised to become a craterfaced major prick. Hide the car keys, Ray's coming!

45. It is obvious to me that whoever this Ray Edelman is was definitely smoking crack while attending the University of Miami. First of all, I was a theater major there as well, and can honestly say Ray Liotta was without a doubt the finest actors that set foot on the stage of the Ring Theater. Sorry I can't remember any student in the theater Dept. named Ray Edelman....maybe it is because he never got cast in any roles while he was there, while Ray had the lead in every play that he auditioned for. Ray is a great actor, and a fine person. He made a mistake, which he will pay for. Luckily nobody was hurt. Ray Liotta is a wonderful actor and I am proud to have worked with him. Get over your 28 year grudge, and start living in the present....Ray worked very hard to get to where he is today. I wish Ray peace in his life....may God bless him...
