47. Not exactly the poster boy for our legal system......I'm almost embarrassed for him. This sad case has pulled in a number of sad people. This guy being the leader of the pack.

48. Is anybody else on this board a lawyer? I'm supposed to be studying for the Bar (next Tuesday) right now but I am actually FIXATED on how bad the lawyering/judging in this courtroom is!!!! Stern's lawyer Barth's knowledge of the rules of evidence is appalling- according to her, everything is admissable because it shows "state of mind"; and this judge is so horribly, unprofessional!
Just wondering what other lawyers think...

50. #35 Are you kidding? Are you on the same drugs as ANS was? Larry Birkhead did not 'abandon' ANS. She RAN OFF to the Bahamas to get away from him. Why? Because he was on her to get off drugs. Same as ANS's mother. ANS started slurring her words around the same time HKS came into the picture during the court cases of her dead husbands millions. She has been slurring her words and acting out of it many, many times since then. Usually when HKS is a few feet away from her.

HKS comes into the picture when hundreds of millions are at stake, she starts slurring her words and acting out of it. Suddenly, her mother is scum (who she had taking care of her son for years when he was young) and anyone who seems to try to get her off drugs need to ran away from. HKS also suddenly becomes ANS's lover? When she, for years, laughed off any kind of romantic relationship saying they are like brother and sister?

The only people saying ANS's mother and Larry Birkhead are in it for money is the media and HKS's lawyers. I have only ever heard them say they wanted her off drugs and the people that enable it.

How can anyone with the tiniest bit of knowledge about ANS and HKS say that he was good for her?

51. The under weight issue shouldn't be an issue.. the issue is that ANNA remains FROZEN while all these people are trying to get a peice of change from her..

That pic doesn't prove the baby is underweight.. how old is she there?

52. That link of the video of an obviously wacked out Anna was definitely disturbing, but I'm sure it isn't the only one of her like that. So very sad. What's worse is that HKS KNEW what was happening and 'allowed' it by participating, at least as far as we know, by enabling. There is a story out there also that Larry Birkhead walked away from Anna because he knew she was doing drugs and told her to get clean or he'd leave. Obviously, he left. I don't know if that's true, but how guilty is Stern seems to be one of the big questions here. On his watch both Anna and her son died. Danny's from a lethal combination of drugs and I'm betting Anna's will be the same. He KNEW what was happening. To what extent and to what he's culpibility, I would love to know.
My unsolicited opinion - give the estate to a trustee to provide for the child, no one but her profits. And do the paternity test QUICK!

this is a web site for the Bahama police, I urged them to protect the child and said I hoped their government would not let people come there to escape the laws and courtorders of the U.S. I also said I have visited the Bahamas many times (which I have often since I live in
Florida) but if they don't protect the interests of that baby I won't in the future. In fact I think we all should boycott if they don't intervene for the interest of the baby. EVERYONE SEND AN EMAIL!

55. Really, let's jump ahead a short bit: how is this all really going to end/play out? A "daddy-test" will take place, then THAT fight will be on; Howard CANNOT meet the Bahama's residency standards, so he'll have to come back to America (maybe could run and hide in Mexico??) - then what? Howard K. Stern: how do YOU really see this all ending? You can certainly STALL, like you are, but it DOES all come to some sort of end! Sounds like the Bahamas NOW might not let her even be buried there; Daniel should be moved; put them both in CALIFORNIA somewhere and let them be "movie stars" in death, where fans, family - whomever - can visit all they want. The baby girl will grow up somewhere, and can always visit her brother and mother (whom she'll never even know or remember anyhow) in California. There is no reason for any bizarre outcomes, let all the normal, expected actions take place (do the DNA, give the baby to whom she belongs, Howard moves (deports) back to the U.S., bury ANS and Daniel in California ) and then life will go on........

I was in court ,for a divorce case for 10 years. I was in and out of the judicial system alot, went through many judges too.
My impression of this judge is to make everyone comfortable. He wanted everyone to introduce themselves and then he wanted them to feel comfortable with him. This is going to be a very hard case for him to decide. Mine was, it took 10 years.

He is allowing everything, it looks like. He will decide if it is admissible or not.Yes, he is making an ass out of himself, what man don't..LOL!

That TeXas lawyer will whip his butt as ANS would have said!

57. I'm glad others are of the same opinion about this judge. He's lousy and this hearing has gone on long enough. Order the DNA test and give that woman her daughter so she may be buried. All this stalling is self-promotion.

59. #49, not underweight necessarily -- a little hard to tell from that picture alone, though. However, what does bother me are suds that were obviously smeared on the baby's (scared and unhappy) face. Shows me Anna and Howard weren't below using Dannielynn from almost the beginning to bring attention to themselves. I'm glad Anna is no longer in the baby's life. She really was a puke.

For those cheering on Larry - don't forget he, too, loves taking photographs. And remember, what kind of guy would date the likes of ANS? Nope. I do not believe the baby is any safer with Larry than with Howard. Both are unfit.
