All Rise!!! Judge Seidlin Says He's Ready for TV

61. Personally I think nothing will be resolved today. I am somewhat surprised that a long break was taken this morning, not resuming until 11:30 am, and now a lunch break was ordered by the judge, court resuming at 2:30 EST.

The judge is good, I know that BUT...not time for him to try to be the star. I think he is smart and nobodys fool. Not sure if he is giving team Stern enough rope to hang themselves or what the issue is.

I noted they want to admit tapes from The Insider/Entertainment tonight as evidence against Virgie Arthur, but did you see Barth's face when the other counsel mentioned they too have tapes?

Personally, I think paternity should have been established first. And it is apparent Sterns team meandered around " California" law, trying to avoid the issue. Basically, Stern is still refusing to take the paternity test. I think the judge should have ordered it today! No more screwing around, this is incomprehensible.

The best evidence against Stern is that video of the stoned 8month pregnant ANS. If in fact he is /was the father of the unborn baby....either one of 2 things..it proves beyond a doubt he did not care about mother or his unborn child. OR he knew he was NOT the father, and in a way he enjoyed knowing Birkheads child was being put at risk. Either way Dannilynne should be removed from Stern immediately. No contest.

63. This guy is a piss poor excuse for a judge. I agree with the prior comments about how he cannot hold his attention for 15 minutes. hell he lays in that chair and looks up at the ceiling like he's off on a bad acid trip. talk about taking methadone this judge should seriously be drug tested. i doubt he'll be a judge after this case is over. i can't even believe he actually kept an attention span to CHEAT on the bar exam.

This JUDGE (and I use the term loosely) is grandstanding and has been from the git go. He ONLY has HIS best interests at heart..He is a DISCRACE to the COURT SYSTEM. HE NEEDS TO BE DISBARRED. FOR his INTENT In this matter. WHat a joke he is making of the Judicial system.....

He needs to be REPLACED ASAP. IF NOT SOONER.... DEAR GOD WHAT A SICK SICK MESS....HE THINKS HE IS GOD... and I believe he is being so nice to Howard Sterns Lawyer by letting her speak and speak , She seems to do not wrong in his eyes. Maybe he is thinking about getting into bed with Howard now tha tAnna is gone to further his TV aspirations. OMG>> We need help on this one. He needs to ask himself. Now what would a real Judge do?

69. Diva # 63. Lets have some patience, he may in fact be letting Team Stern hang themselves. And the others have not gone yet to cross examine.

In a way it is best Sterns team gets up first, then it allows the others a better chance of counter attacking. Beleive me, they are not eating lunch right now, they are gathering their tools.

But, I am shocked the judge did not better indicate that today would be the day to call witness and submissions. He claims he made that clear on Friday, maybe I missed that.

The judge is good, he is witty and tricky and he is also a father of a child. Lets's see how it unfolds, something tells me that as the day progresses, he will come around. His leeway on Sterns team could in fact be a show of " not favoritizing", but it's a 50/50 right now.

Can't wait for them to tear Sterns playhouse down. oops I mean crackhouse!

70. sorry, but 'the judge is good' ?!?! Based on what? Nothing I've seen so far. He's totally grand standing and giving opinions on things he has no business giving opinions on - like baby Danni coming back to 'visit' them? Give me a freaking break. He'd be different if the cameras were off. He's totally playing for the cameras and I sure hope someone from the Bar is watching.

71. This idiotic judge is basically making an audition tape for his desired TV slot as the next Wapner. I had been following the legal angles to this case until TODAY. I cannot believe any of these lawyers did not ask for a different judge, then again all the lawyers want to be TV stars too.

72. Someone tell me there is a review board that can call this judge up on his behavior? Also, why doesn't the Bar have special judges 'trained' for such high profile cases - it definitely takes a different type of handling. Or maybe just take the freaking cameras out of the courtroom and tell us how it all turned out in the end.

74. Well, this was an easy one. Of course he was a fame whore from the start; that should have been evident when he cracked his first joke. Any bursts of laughter or general levity in a courtroom should, at the very least, be reserved for later on in proceedings, not in the first couple of hours.

He further compromised his reputation when he made the pronouncement, "Right now this body belongs to Me." How tasteless.

I'm guessing some political strings were pulled in Broward County to ensure that this camera-crazy judge got "the part" of judge in Anna Nicole's burial plot case.
