Update: TMZ has learned that Britney has checked into Promises, a treatment facility in Malibu.

TMZ has learned Britney Spears is back in rehab. Sources say the singer has checked into an in-patient facility in Los Angeles. We're told the move came after family members, including her mom, pressed her to check in.

Spears entered the facility today. After TMZ posted the news, a rep for the singer told PEOPLE "Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today. We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time."

Last week, Spears checked herself into a rehab facility in Antigua but checked out less than 24 hours later.

62. For all those that say she cut her to avoid a drug test, that's called obstruction of justice. Not to mention, they can get hair from, ahem, other parts of her body (like her eyebrows).

I personally think she's bipolar and is in the 'manic phase' of the disorder (staying up late, impulsive, irresponsible, etc...).

She definitely needs Jesus

69. Oh my. The down fall of a beautiful young woman pushed by her family to pursue her dreams too quickly with no stops for growth as normal young women get to do. I pray that she can find peace in all this crazyness and uses this experience to guide her children in a better way. Her parents should be looking at themselves closely.

75. YES!!!! Finally!!!!! This is a perfect example of getting too much too fast and too young. Hope she did not go to the spa/party lounge rehab that Blohan went to.
