Update: TMZ has learned that Britney has checked into Promises, a treatment facility in Malibu.

TMZ has learned Britney Spears is back in rehab. Sources say the singer has checked into an in-patient facility in Los Angeles. We're told the move came after family members, including her mom, pressed her to check in.

Spears entered the facility today. After TMZ posted the news, a rep for the singer told PEOPLE "Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today. We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time."

Last week, Spears checked herself into a rehab facility in Antigua but checked out less than 24 hours later.

91. Some mean spirited folks here. Personally, I hope she can get regrounded, reconnect with people who love her and try to get her act together. Maybe the awful people out there who seem to take such glee in making fun of her could giver her a break for a while. How could any of those people think they are not contributing to the pain of someone else? Pathetic.

94. It's about damn time! I do believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt but the hair thing was just too f**king much! She needs some serious help and it's not going to happen over night. She has gone from bad to worse and needs to clean up her damn act. Maybe we'll all get a break from seeing her trashy ass for a while.

97. Any dopehead, as well as any health care worker, knows that depending upon length of hair---it can be retroactively tested for drug abuse for up to years. Brittany fled the Antigua Rehab & shaved her head to dispose of the long-term evidence of multiple drug use---her hair. C'mon, the results of tests on her hair would've lost her her kids.

102. Leave her alone. Let her deal with her problems and mistakes by herself without the whole world weighing in on things that don't concern them. She has been criticized for everything for years. It's hard being a young mother, must be impossible to do a good job at that with everyone pointing out what you do wrong. It must have been very difficult to have to face the fact that Kevin wasn't the right one for her, especially since the world was on a quest to break them up from the start. Let her get better. Celebrities admitted that Anna Nicole Smith was crying for help and they should have helped her-shame on them not helping Britney.

I'm not a person that follows celebertie lives but this sounds stupid. She has two Kids and she going in and out of rehab. It does not make sense.

105. She should have stated where she was #1,the Hollywood rehab stuff is just a media circus, It's just the "Look at Me" thing. Why isn't she at least at Betty Ford or someplace that at least has a reputation. She can afford it. It won't be long and she won't be able to. This is just hype. Yes the girl needs help but, until she gets Real help, it just plays into the hands of the media. She should have gone out of the country. All this is going to do is give her the opportunity to come out and say " I'm Cured" and be close enough to the media so she can get maximum exposure. It's time to end this. Get the kids out of the picture and away from that excuse for a husband and let the story go to it's ultimate end.
