241. Howard K Stern didn't do anything to Anna Smith that she didn't want done. She is a grown woman, and could make choices! IF she decided to be a drug addled joke, that was her choice. Was he an enabler? Yes -- like a lot of those close to an addicted person. I don't know his story, so I'm not going to judge him. Anna had issues (if you believe her mother) LOONNGGG before she met Mr Stern.

First of all, I am not altogether sure ANS was pregnant in the clown video-------it was sick none the less, but if you noticed,she was awfully bent over that baby carriage so it was hard to tell. Was she trashed??-----------Hell,yes---but PG?? Anybody's guess at this point. I didn't think this country could sink much lower when we let poor Terri Shavio die but it seems we can and did. What judge that takes pride in seving justice lets anyone's body rot so they can have their 15 minutes of fame? Her DNA could have been taken from the get go, she could have been embalmed right away, the decision could have been made on where to bury the poor soul which is another ridiculous situation, and she could be resting peacefully (next to Daniel) by now. But that doesn't make for a very exciting story, now does it? I pray that she is allowed to "rest" in the Bahamas like she wanted. If not---every year on the anniversary of her death, we will be watching Vergie on ET selling fried chicken and charging everyone $1.00 to view her "baby's" grave. If she was so damned concerned about Anna's drug use thru out the years, why didn't she step in and gain custody of her precious grandson then.She may have had him for 6 years but it didn't seem to phase her to let him go. I am a mother and a grandmother and I know I would mow down anyone or anything I even REMOTELY thought was endangering my children or grandchildren or die trying. What a phony evil bitch!! I was raised to never speak ill of the dead and to respect their last wishes no matter what. Anna was a beauty in real life and she should be allowed to be laid to rest still beautiful. RIP, dear Anna!! The good Lord will look after Dannielynn. The world is praying for her.

Perhaps you would want it, but if the adult child literally hated you, I think its her right not to have anything to do with a mother. I write this as a mother myself. Anna had little to do with her mother and family while she was alive, its a travesty to give them her remains upon her death. I say, put her next to her much beloved son in the Bahamas. If this mother truly loved Anna, she'd step aside and let her daughter be buried with the family that Anna truly did love.

244. What is clear to me from this is that neiither Howard or Anna's mother cared about her that much. This story reminds of the story in the bible wher the two mothers were fighting over a baby. King Solomon (I think) said"well then, we'll just cut the baby in half". The real mother than immediately said No! and said the other woman could have the baby...rather than see it hurt.

One would think that if you heard that your child or your beloved was starting to decompose, you'd say "you know what, just bury her", because love makes sacrifices like that.

The fighting over her corpse needs to end. It's ridiculous really. She is dead, the body is nothing but an empty shell. The only reason for a gravesite and a tombstone is so that the bereaved have someplace to go to feel in touch. It just doesn't matter where it is. Maybe they could just bury her somewhere geographically inbetween.

I had a child that died at 15 and I know that it doesn't matter if I'm laid to rest next to her, or not, because I know that when I'm gone we will be together again and closer even than we ever were here on Earth.

Boyfriends don't have jurisdiction over parents!!! There shouldn't even need to be more than a 5 minute hearing over this!! END OF STORY!! Geez!

I would think if anything, maybe the Marshalls have more rights to bury her than Howard K. Stern does!! I'm sure she had "step children" LOL

If her mother were noble, maybe she will honor Nicole's wishes, or the judge could put a stipulation on it "to be burried in the Bahamas next to her son "!!! That's obviously where she wanted to be!!

Anna hated her mother, she called her "Mommy Dearest" in the video, that was played in the courtroom. Vergie Arthur appears heartless and has always said horrible things about Anna, she still is, and her own daughter is dead. Vergie taking money for laying on Daniel grave is horrible. I think Anna should be buried next to her son. I think Howard K. Stern has been through hell, and drug through the mud.

she's dead . she don't want nothing now . The only reason Daniel is buried there is because he chose to visit his mom and died . The only reason his mom was in the islands was because Howard was fighting the paternity not Anna . It seems obvious he is controlling and possible of much evil . It amazes me how many people still don't get it . Anna would have raised the baby with Birks not Howard , as she loved Birks not Howard . Her mom tried to help her . Howard kept Anna under his spell and was going to get a new will soon that would have come around just in time for a wedding and a trip to Dubia .

250. someone i knew who used to be a medical examiner in las vegas said they always knew when they were dealing with a body that was drugged up b/c it decayed at a rapid rate...and within a sniff you would know. so sad!

252. I find it hard to believe that the medical examiner calls in to the courts say to the body is deterorating. If this is so, wouldn't it show that the embalming process wasn't done correctly ? I just read today that James Brown after dying on Christmas day will finaly be barried this week. The person who checks on his body says " he looks fine" no mention of anything gone wrong.
I believe that Anna should be barried with her son, but , I believe it should be in the U.S. Realy, how long does Howard K. Stern plan on living in the Bahamas ? So once he returns there will be no-one left there and Daniel and Anna will be alone. I think he was only barried in the Bahamas because that's where she resided at the time and everything was done under emotional distress. I don't think Howard should get her remains ! Regardless of anything her "family" should get her body and have Daniel brought home.

253. Anna Nicole has not been sober in quite some time. Anna Nicole states that she only had an 8th grade education, but school records show that she was expelled in 11th grade. Anna Nicole says she left home at age 15, her mother says that she went to live with her aunt at age 17. Anna Nicole says that her mother hasn't seen Daniel since age 5, her mother says that she raised him until about age 7, Anna Nicole says that her mother was married 20 times! I also find that very hard to believe. Even Zsa Zsa has only been married 8 times. It seems that Anna Nicole distorts reality. Anna Nicole is a very poor judge of character if she trusted Howard Stern. For everyone who claims that her mother is out for money, lets look at the history - who is the one who has sold out Anna Nicole, who has personally profitted from her many affairs? Who is the one who wants to keep his only income comming? As a police officer for 28 years, I think Vickie Lynn's mother has shown her character. I can't believe people are calling a retired police officer trailer trash. Perhaps too many people are also taking drugs because they can't see the truth through the fog.

255. I am wondering if BOTOX has anything to do with her facial deterioration? She probably used a lot since she was nearing 40-recently lost a lot of weight yet her face was smooth and clear no wrinkles you see when someone loses a lot of weight.
In general why is she deteriorating so fast when they admitted that her son Daniel was kept from burial for SIX WEEKS while she and Stern ruminated as to where to bury him. No mention of his rapid "deterioration". Are embalming methods different in the Bahamas? I doubt it. The climate is similar to FLA. So what gives here?
