TMZ has learned a gaggle of paparazzi just took off by helicopter from the Santa Monica airport, headed for Malibu. Their target: Britney Spears in rehab.
Spears checked into the ritzy Promises treatment center in Malibu today. We're told the doors are off the chopper so the paps can get a clear shot of the grounds as they hunt for the troubled singer.
31. i'm happy to hear shes going back but i wonder....... will she stay long enough to recover this time? and why is she going? if its just to get people off her back then will it really help her? she needs therapy.

32. I wish TMZ would stop acting like they are above the fray when it comes to the papps. If YOU would stop buying their pictures, they would STOP taking them! How DARE you pretend like you're holier than thou! The girl is trying to get help, and I gurantee that if one of these pricks comes up with a picture of her in the garden, you'll buy for a couple of hundred dollars, making it all worth it to these bastards.

35. God forgive me, but I hope each and everyone of them fall out, not die, but hurt themselves so they can feel the hurt of being bottomed out. Hope someone gets in their faces, and makes their lives hell. Scum, bottom feeders, and dont' say that is the only way they can make a living. Give us their names, and to whom they are selling the pictures if they get them, and we will stop buying the magazines, and anything that is advertised in these magazines. Or TMZ, ET, E, or any of those shows. Give us the choice to not buy their crap and yours. Anyone have the nerves to do that???

36. Speaking as a bodyguard that has enjoyed the opportunity to work for various "A" list stars, I think that the maggots who call themselves papparazzi should leave her alone. It's a sad day when a haircut becomes front page news. Personally I like the new look, and I think that it should make the cover of her new album when it comes out

37. I pity Brit for having to deal w/ rehab AND asshole papparazzi. She needs our prayers & positive thoughts about her future. There's hope for her......Everyone try really hard not to look at any pictures or intrusive articles about Britney at Promises while she's in rehab...like that's possible...our voyerism is what gets those fu**ing pho-togs paid...unfortunately we feed the frenzy.

43. I cannot believe how cold people are! You all act like you're perfect! Has ANYONE given her the benefit of the doubt and looked into the possibility that she just might be suffering from post partum psychosis? How about talking with her for help with that? Everyone assumes she is an alcoholic or on drugs. Hello, people behave in strange ways when they are going through post partum depression or any REAL DEEP depression. Don't just assume she needs rehab, she needs a psychiatric elvaluation and let's hope it's just the "baby blues."
