47. This is not a surprise. He is not the first professional athlete to ever get someone pregnant out of wedlock. They will work it out. I agree with poster #41. 48. How in the hell would she have known two months ago that the relationship was ending?!?!?!?!? She didn't trap him!!!! I have a lot of respect for Bridget. She was in I-Robot, Coyote Ugly, and Sex and the City. Not saying that she was in Oscar worthy movies but she is an actress and Giselle is just another man-stealing model. Leo wouldn't marry her so why would Tom Brady?!?! I have never liked him. He just seems like a self-righteous a**hole who will dump anyone for the "next best thing".

50. #41 COME-SEE-ME - Your thinking seems off to me. First you say 'just because she's pregnant doesn't mean they have to be together or get married'. Then you say 'If he don't take care of his kid, then dog him'.
How do take care of a kid if you're 'not together'???? You don't. Do you think throwing dollars at the mother takes care of a kid??? Ask any kid whose Dad did that if they felt taken care of. The two things you said are exact opposites. You can't have one without the other. Together = kid gets taken care of. Not together = kid gets taken care of by custodial parent only. Do you think a kid feels taken care of because Daddy threw some money at his mom? Do you think a day a month at the zoo cuts it? Bringin' over a bag of diapers and screwing off after half an hour? That's why people shouldn't create little people until after they marry. It creates hurt and screwed up kids all over the place. A child wants and needs their parents time and attention. 24/7. Not 10 X 2hr visits a year. Anything less and you're kidding yourself.

BUT... to have his people out slamming Bridget because she is "tyrying to make him look bad"???? There goes ALL my respect for him. And Gisele? Hot 26 year old body, 40 year old face. We dont know what happened and we shouldnt! Yes, so Tom made a bad move by going straight to Gisele but you cant expect him to sit in his room and cry about it for months can you? Good luck to Bridget, but she should have announced her pregnancy another way. If Tom and Gisele actually do get married (which i dont think will happen) good for them! The most important thing is that this child has both a loving mother and father (which it will most definetly will!).

54. When the time comes and the baby is born, I bet that Tom and his family (sisters/parents/girlfriend-of-the-week) will welcome the child with open arms. He does not need to "be" with Bridget to get visitation rights. With his megamillions he can afford to lavish the tyke with love, attention, material goods, nannnies, travel...etc.. . I can imagine Baby Brady at Disneyland with TB, his sisters, parents and niece (also born out of wedlock..who cares??)and everyone will be happy because they will love this child no matter what circumstances he/she was born under. 57. I find it quite upsetting that in this society, we still blame the woman for trapping a man if she becomes pregnant out of wedlock. Did it occur to anyone that birth control could have been used (like the pill) , and was ineffective (no method has a 100% success rate, including the pill)?

I thought they were engaged at one time--am I wrong on that?

Could it be possible that she went public with this birth announcement, not to make him "look like a bad guy" as TB says, but to end rumor and speculation by the press before it became too stressful?


For those that haven't heard of BM, she has been a steady working actress. Anyone who watched Sex and the City knows who she is. Just because she isn't as famous as GB doesn't mean she is not working and earning money (as opposed to trapping "TB to get his money--how neanderthalic of an interpreation). And just because she is less famous does not mean she is less of a person. To the readers, it appears that GB deserves more because they think she is the better looking of the two. I find that appalling.

Apparently, being a "supermodel" is held in higher esteem to these readers. Just because you are famous and as one reader put 'looks hot" with TB, does that mean you are better suited for each other? How shallow and superficial.

In any event, a child is involved now. He doesn't have to get back together with Bridget, but you think if he had a morsal of decency and class, he would be a little less public with his new romance (GB too). Go ahead, keep seeing each other (preferably in private), but show some respect.
