K-Fed -- I Want a Custody Hearing STAT

TMZ has learned that Kevin Federline has asked a judge for an emergency hearing on Thursday to discuss his custody dispute with estranged wife Britney Spears.

A court spokesperson says only K-Fed and his attorney are scheduled to appear before the judge, but adds "anything is possible."

Federline filed papers in November seeking spousal support and sole custody of the couple's children- 5-month-old Jayden James and 17-month-old Sean Preston. As TMZ previously reported, a temporary court order granted the couple joint custody, with Spears having primary physical custody of the boys.

Now, with Spears' recent erratic behavior, coupled with the fact that she's been in and out of rehab twice in the last week, all bets may be off.

18. Why give the kids to Britney's mom? She's the one who raised Britney to be such a fine upstanding member of the public. All Britney's mom would do for those boys is parade them in every Little Gentlemen's pageant or whatever so they can someday renew the Boy Band trend. That whole family is poison.

21. I suspect that Brit's mom is probably the most competent parental unit for the kids right now, but let's hope that this is the wakeup call that B needs to get her act together.

As Craig Ferguson said, this isn't a joke. It's about a young woman on a downward spiral.

As for K-Fed, he's got a couple of other kids who he had no trouble walking away from. Their momma didn't have big bucks tho.

22. why cant she stay home one friggin night and be a mom, she knew acting the whore would make it risky during a divorce battle. She seems to be doing everything she can to get attention and lose her kids, it's like she WANTS to have all this happen.

28. K-Fed doesn't deserve those kids. He wasn't around in the beginning. All he wants is the money. Please Brit get the help you need for yourself and those priceless babies they need you.

29. KFed defenitely has a good chance to get these kids if only for awhile. (until Britney gets her act together and files to get them back) There is no reason Brit's mom should have them when their father is capable of caring for them. The only time grandparents are awarded custody is when both parents are whacked out and as much as we dislike KFed, there's no reason he can't care for his kids right now. They are in no way GREAT parents like some people have stated... but they do seem to be loving parents which is a totally different thing. Britney needs SERIOUS help and the kids need to be with their father. I just hope he doesn't blow it once he gets them.

30. The kids deserve to be with parents who love them and care for them... Britney, sadly, is having difficulties with this, so maybe they should be with their father. I sincerely hope the best for all of them!
