Virgie: I Didn't Pay for My Bahamas Flight

Anna Nicole Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, just told the court that her round-trip airplane fare for a recent trip from Houston to the Bahamas was paid for by a third party. She traveled with sister-in-law Elaine Tabor, and someone she called "a close friend" of the family, David Leigh, identified as a journalist with Splash News.

She could not identify precisely where Leigh lived in Florida, and said he did not know Daniel Smith, even though he was present at a memorial service for him in the Bahamas in January.

Arthur revealed that she receives approximately $3500 per month in pension, and that her husband makes $600 per week, upon being asked by Judge Larry Seidlin.

If I recall correctly, they didn't ask Virgie if she had any income from the deal with Splash [or other news media]. They asked her if she received any type of payment, in the form of money, plane tickets, etc. She originally said no, I believe. Then changed her story after she went on her little bathroom break.

173. Vergie has totally blown her credibility. She lied on the stand. She was asked, several times I might add due to her stall tactics, and she stalled, turned on the fake water works, AND LIED. and Airfare WAS mentioned in the question that Krista Barth asked. So what that means now is that Virgie Aurthor, the 'greiving' mother who swore on the holy bible to tell the truth, who claims the only person who is making money from Anna's/Daniel's death is HKS, has committed PURGERY. This judge, as excentric as he is, isn't a fool. I know that he is trying to be easy on her because she has lost a daughter and grandson, but he knows that he has to follow the letter of the law, and he knows that she lied.
Also he said how 'impressed' he was with Larry Birkheads testimony. He actually asked him if he turns out to be Dannielynns father, where would he have her buried (Since he would be the legal guardian of Dannielynn). Larry stated that he has mixed feelings. But the point I'm making is that at NO TIME did the judge ask HKS this question...now mind you, its already very clear where he wants her buried, so that may be why he didn't ask.

So to all those who side with the mother...can you honestly sit there now and think that Vergie's motives are honourable? Do you think that after hearing her say at one point that Anna NEVER spoke about where she wanted to be laid to rest, and then later on say that Anna said she wanted to be buried near Marilyn Munroe...Near where the stars are buried. She is totally contradicing herself over and over again...Her testimony is not consistant and therefore, she lacks credibility.

175. This woman is an incredible liar, I doubt that she was ever close with her daughter. Why was ANS raised in Mexia by her aunt when her mother worked in Harris County? I know Mexia and there are very few activities geared to young teens especially around the time that ANS was living there, and drugs are a big problem in those small towns because there is so little to do. For a former deputy sheriff to sit there and claim that "not to her knowledge" had she ever heard of a person born in one state being buried in another state is either an outright lie or she spent her entire life living under a rock. Anna's half sister is writing a book about ANS called "Trainwreck" sure shows what opinion her family had of her. In Texas, small town families do not air their problems in public and certainly not in the press.

Now that video has come out that Larry B. was sitting at the table while ANS made out with her methadone DR. I think she was used by them all.

It was obvious that the one person that she loved was her son, I hope she is buried next to him.

177. #161... Tracey, the fact that she received a few bucks for the plane ticket isn't that big a deal...the problem is that SHE LIED ABOUT IT ON A COURT OF LAW. She committed purgery. thats the big deal

Also HKS didn't say that his parents supported him since 1996. He said that ANNA supported him until her death, and since her death, his parents have been supporting him.

Believe me when I say that I am not on Howard K Sterns side in this. I am on Annas side. I hope that HKS goes to prison for pushing drugs on Anna when she was pregnant, for forgery (investigation is currently going on in Nassau) and extortion of Annas money. I KNOW that he is NOT the father and that Larry is, but I also know that Vergie is lieing and she should no longer be considered credible and her petition for the remains should be dismissed.

I am presently in Holland and am totally shocked by the amount of STERN KILLER HATERS!!! I am happily one of them.

ANS was a slut but a gorgeous one - jelousy makes people nasty - nasty makes fat - fat makes ugly - howabouthat!!!

STOP bad mouthing her, let her sleep in peace.
