Virgie: I Didn't Pay for My Bahamas Flight

Anna Nicole Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, just told the court that her round-trip airplane fare for a recent trip from Houston to the Bahamas was paid for by a third party. She traveled with sister-in-law Elaine Tabor, and someone she called "a close friend" of the family, David Leigh, identified as a journalist with Splash News.

She could not identify precisely where Leigh lived in Florida, and said he did not know Daniel Smith, even though he was present at a memorial service for him in the Bahamas in January.

Arthur revealed that she receives approximately $3500 per month in pension, and that her husband makes $600 per week, upon being asked by Judge Larry Seidlin.

47. hey not all of us can afford the luxury to travel at the drop of a dime to find our drugged out/dead relatives. that is why they were i n the bahamas in the first place. to get away.

and if that were my daughter or grandson, i would take the help as well.

Even if Anna does happen to be initially buried in the Bahamas, the DNA-proven father, in conjunction with Virgie, will decide Anna's final resting place.

BTW, I'm curious -- are there any Stern supporters out there who actually believe he will be proven to be the biological father?

52. VIRGIE SCREWED UP!!!! I am on her side because she is the mother of ANS, but SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD THE TRUTH. She lied this morning, and told the truth this afternoon. She just dug her own grave and lost her case.

53. #34 Cathy i completly agree with you not only on the video but on ANS they all say she is drugged up but people this is a woman who at 26 married and 80 something year old man and then at HIS funeral wore her wedding dress? and sang a song of wind beneath my wings! She wasnt normal she did weird funny things u cant judge that video it clearly seems they are joking around and howard isnt saying that to mean he is making money off it for real. I say ANS needs to be buried by her SON a child she loved so much that when he was being put under ground lay herself on the casket and said if he was being buried she wanted to be with him! And people if HKS was sooooooo horrible anna wouldnt have been with him so many years in friendship or as boyfriend and girlfriend and trusted him with everything of hers and if he isnt the father certainly would not say he is if she didnt want him to care for her. when she was alive she found to keep him for larry and with howard those were her wishes people wether you agree with her wishes or not isnt the case they should be honered and thats that!

You and your husband may joke around about him videotaping you -- BUT, I hope he never did so when you were wasted out of your mind, and 8 months pregnant with a painted clown face on! The slimeball behavior HK$ has shown in his enablement and control of Anna by taking advantage of her drug abuse is dispicable. And everyone who wanted to help Anna Nicole and get her off drugs was pushed away by him. I hope they investigate him for criminal actions (especially in the case of Daniel). He makes me want to throw up.

58. How is it about the money? This woman lives in $60,000 house by todays standards that's not much. I think we should have a little more compassion for this woman she was up against Howie who lived off Anna Nicole since he met her. No I don't think she should get Mother of the year award but she is clearly hurting.
