Larry Birkhead just broke down on the stand, while trying to describe his efforts to convince Anna Nicole Smith to stop using drugs.
"They kept bringing more and more drugs into the house," he said. "I knew it was really bad ... they had [an Anna Nicole assistant's] name up in the pharmacy as a VIP."
When Birkhead criticized Howard K. Stern's treatment of Anna Nicole, Stern could be seen shaking his head vigorously and turning to his lawyer.

Paula, that was well said. I'm still amused that in probate court the judge is treating it more as a custody hearing. It's not. It has to do with the intent of the deceased as to where she wished to be buried. I haven't heard a lot about the will itself, only things such as, a child's welfare is at stake. The child's welfare is indeed important, but not the focus of this hearing.
None of these litigants have the best welfare of the child in mind. If the money factor were removed, how fast they'd flee. Mother, supposed lover and concerned lover would all have different tales to tell.
