Hatchet to Be Buried With Anna?

After shredding each other for the past four days, Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead simultaneously announced, without any seeming anger toward each other, that Anna Nicole Smith will be buried in the Bahamas.

The announcement came just a few minutes after Judge Larry Seidlin decided that Dannielynn's court-appointed guardian should mediate the dispute.

The two men, who had sneered and clawed at one another, both directly and through their lawyers during the days of the legal hearing, made the announcement with Anna's mom, Virgie Arthur. They would not address the question of funeral arrangements nor would they discuss the paternity battle.

Even Birkhead's flame-throwing lawyer, Debra Opri, appealed for calm -- and appeared with her combatant, Stern's lawyer, Krista Barth.

Despite a slew of interviews, no one -- not even his own staff -- has asked about the unique shape of Perper's head.

He responded with a sense of humor rarely seen in his public persona.

"I am definitely not a member of the television's Coneheads," he said with a chuckle. "I always used to say I have extra brains that I could not accommodate in my head."

The story is told in pure Perper style: just the facts. He was dropped accidentally on his head by his aunt when he was a small child and a blood clot thickened part of his skull.

34. Perhaps that judge did have a method to his madness. Also, it is nice that the three parties can cooperate on one thing in respect for Anna. I believe all three loved her in their own way.

37. Doesn't anyone else think that Anna would actually want the one person she was close with to have say so? I think that common sense would tell us that Anna would want to be buried w/her son- no judge should have been involved and certainly not a publicity-hound judge and publicity-hound lawyers. Everyone involved acts like they just want fame and fortune except for Howard.

42. What is everyone going to do if the paternity tests all come back and Howard is the father? You will all look like a bunch of idiots! People need to reserve judgement until we know for sure, you cant base how good a father is or will be based on what they look like (gimme a break). HKS has been there for ANS this whole time, and all the reports that we get are just that....speculated reports. The truth will come out in time, if it is Larry then he will get her, if not, and it is Stern, then he will get her. It is easy for all of us on the outside to throw stones in a direction, none of us know the real story, just what we are fed!

45. I think it'd be a great idea for HK$ and Larry to move to New Jersey, have a civil union, and move ANS and Danny there. Everything ELSE is buried there... And then HK still wouldn't have to get a job.
