Isaiah Out of Touch with Reality

Chatty Isaiah Washington had nothing but good things to say yesterday when photogs caught the self-censor challenged "Grey's Anatomy" star leaving trendy Orso restaurant in Los Angeles.

The paps asked Isaiah about T.R. Knight ("Everything is a blessing"), and whether or not he gets along with Katharine Heigl ("Why wouldn't I?").

Isaiah showed just how out of touch he is, when the cameraman remarked about Isaiah still being on the show, to which Dr. I replied, "I think that's the important thing, still giving the people what they want." Yeah, except the gay people.

16. He has a right to believe and say what he wants for now in this country. As long he is not promoting job discrimination or violence there is nothing to be sorry about. Just because you do not believe in the homsexual lifestyle does not make you a hater. Homosexuals like libs only believe that you agree with their ideals or you are a hater or idiot. More power to freedom of speech no materr which side you speak from.

19. Isaiah Washington has an anger managerment problem, not a bigotry problem. He hates himself, and it projects onto the nearest available victim (who was in this case, gay). Washington's self-immolation at the Golden Globes was a cry for help (Stop me before I kill again!) Shondra Rhimes gave it to him. He took it, and is continuing with intensive therapy that will eventually free him of this horribly self-destructive streak. It was never about the gay thing. It was about the "I don't deserve this success thing, so let me make sure it's taken from me." So in that sense, yes, it IS a blessing, if you believe in redemption, and that people are worthy of it. I do, and so, unlike you, I wish him well.

21. Will all of the gay lovers of the world get off of this man's back. He said an unkind word one time in an argument. He has no history of gay bashing in the decade that he has worked in Hollywood. He tried to defend himself at the Globes and it backfired on him. It was an unfortunate response to an inappropriate question at that place and time from Ted Casablanca. The media frenzy to end this man's career over a word spoken in anger, and not even addressing a gay man, is beyond horrible. The unkind things said about Isaiah Washington by people who use the media to push their own agenda is outrageous. He is a passionate, intense actor who brings that intensity to the role of Preston Burke. The fans of the show would be losing a wonderful character and great talent if he were to leave. There are many, many fans of the Burke and Cristina pairing that would lose. Why should he not say postive things about his castmates? Why should he not be positive about his future? He has done more than anyone should have been required to do over a case of school yard name calling. Give it a rest and let the cast of GA work things out so that every actor in this fabulous ensemble cast can do their job.

22. Okay, I responded to your nasty article before listening to the little film clip. I just want to say, what a gentleman Isaiah Washington is. Here you guys are ambusing him as he leaves a restaurant with his wife. He smiles and is perfectly charming to your insolent and trouble seeking questions. I don't know how you sleep at night . Good for you Isaiah. Don't let the idiots get you down. You stay strong. You have fans out here who love you.

23. Clearly it is you TMZ that is out of touch with your unforgiving hearts and muck-racking ways. Thanks to your negativity you will attract the ire and wrath of truly homophobic people so you can learn to recognize them when you see them. This man is not taking any of this seriously. He is trying to get the hell away from a cameraman doging him with questions while pretending to be friendly. Bless him for being composed enough to avoid the bait being offered. Time to forgive and move on now.
