And I do agree with some of you folks, that yes, for some, it can slow reaction time. But for me, when I drive after somkin', I drive A LOT Slower. But a little pot won't cause an accident. More people are involved in accidents who are totally sober than people who are stoned. I work in insurance, so i should know.

all those adds with people getting in an accident saying its bc of pot are just silly. they do those studies with people who have not smoked every day so they are blitzed out of their minds. once again, if you smoke every you build up a tolerance. if people can take their eyes off the road to light up a cig, talk on the phone, or slap their kid, I can smoke and drive.

54. A LOT of people smoke weed -- people you would never suspect. Good, decent people. The fact that it is illegal is what makes some say that tokers are "losers." Well, I take a hit now and then, but it doesn't consume my life. And I'm not a loser. I'm really responsible, I work hard, I go to college, I love and support my family and friends. The fact that I blaze up doesn't change the good person I am, nor does it change the good in others who smoke too.

Sigh. Okay. I'm off my soap box now. Thanks for reading, and hit one for me. You know, do it safely in your or somebody else's house.

55. people who have gotten only 4 hours of sleep are more of a driving hazard than a pothead.
i used to smoke and drive all the time - and not once was i ever in an accident.
if anything, i'm more aware of my surroundings and a lot more cautious when i drive high.

58. LOL, Concietta you need to get a freaking life. Pull the pole out of your azz and get a life. So she was smoking what appears to be a joint. Jeez, maybe it was actually a cigarette. I have a friend who would roll his own cigarettes.
I am definitely not a "loser" and I think that pot should be legalized. I personally do not smoke it but do not judge those who choose to.
People are going to buy pot whether it is legal or not. If legalized, it would be taxed, have quality control, cut out your local thug drug dealers. That being said, I am not for drinking and driving or smoking and driving. If at home, if you have them, smoke them. Party on dude!!!

59. She shouldn't be doing it while driving but pot is not any worse than alcohol. If pot is illegal than alcohol should be illegal. I hear of tons of people killed by drunk drivers and none by pot drivers.
