Anna's Home Will Go to Highest Bidder

TMZ has learned the owners of the house in which Howard K. Stern is living are putting the property on the market for a cool $10 million!

Horizons, the Bahamian oceanfront estate in which Anna Nicole lived, was purchased back in October by South Carolina real estate mogul G. Ben Thompson for $950,000.

TMZ has obtained an attorney's letter written to Thompson and his son-in-law, S. Ford Shelley, which states that they have "a good and marketable title to that property... " and there is, "a duly executed and stamped conveyance in your favour."

TMZ has learned Thompson and Shelly are currently interviewing brokerage firms worldwide -- firms that are interested in winning the listing.

In short, it appears Thompson and Shelly have a right to sell the property, which may have skyrocketed in value because of the incredible publicity surrounding the Smith saga. Sources say Stern himself believes the property is worth $10 mil.

22. For anyone asking, Anna never owned the house. Paperwork was drawn up basically to prove intent to purchase in order to hustle up the residency claim. She never signed the papers and the Thompson real estate group is said to have correspondence from Anna regarding intent to pay and then backing off and refusing to pay. Stating that Ben should just give her the house. The battle to reclaim the property began long ago. They should prevail. Although it may look like a windfall for them, this isn't their first. They already have residences in the Keyes as well as other high priced tourist areas and this was not their first dealings in the Bahamas from what I have heard.

23. Okay, let's back up a minute.

Take a look at the document TMZ posted.

It's actually a letter from the law firm representing Calendar & Co. in the suit they have against them over their handling of the house.

This document seems to say that the application for the Certificate of Registration is still outstanding as of February 14th. They only have "good and marketable" title to the property after the Certificate is obtained.

24. Carole, you got it right. Anna Nicole never owned the house. She was offered a mortgage to pay for it but refused to sign it. At that point she tore up the mortgage documents and claimed that the house was a gift to her. She never bought the house, she never paid for the house, and there were a couple of rulings about this a few days before she died. She was in the process of being evicted at the time of her death.

Howard Stern bought another hose just before Anna Nicole died, and it was not nearly as nice as the place where they are being evicted.

25. It seems to me that Thompson & Shelly don't have the right to sell the property until the Certificat of Registration has been obtained. Has that happened yet?

29. Well, I guess that means that Howard K Sperm isn't REALLY a resident of the Bahamas after all, what a shame. Maybe this is why he didn't bother to show up at the custody hearing today. Fucking WORM!!!

Someone should shoot that piece of shit in the face.

30. Seems to me that Ford Shelley is a snake and oppertunist. I'll bet he disgraces his so called "Good Friend" Anna's name by selling to the highes bidder her most personal posessions that he took illeagally from the home. I would not trust anything that self serving snake says or does.
