Foxy Brown: I'm a Victim of Police Brutality

Foxy Brown claims she was a victim of police brutality during a beauty store bust in Florida nearly two weeks ago.

The rapper held a press conference yesterday, and attacked the Pembroke Pines Police for their alleged treatment of her during her February 15 arrest. The store owner claims Brown went on a violent rampage that included squirting hair glue, knocking over displays and spitting at him.

"The only crime I am guilty of committing is being a young black female celebrity in Broward County," said Brown. "I am the victim of an overzealous police department who engaged in police brutality and a money-hungry store owner whose motives are for me to pay his mortgage on his house and his children's tuition."

Brown added that the store owner barged in on her while she was on the toilet and demanded she leave the store , without giving her the privacy to get dressed. Though Brown went off on the police department and the store owner, she didn't deny the charges they filed against her.

31. Foxy Brown you should be ashamed of yourself! Why would you put yourself in such a position as to where you felt the need to act in a violent manner in the first place? I highly doubt the police had anything to gain by having to come to that shop to arrest you for your bad behavior. Being a person in the public eye you should have acted better!

36. first off, maybe if she had not pulled this before, people may question the truth,but this is becoming routine for her. She is known as an angry person. Maybe she is made that she has not had a career since 1995. I saw her live with Biggie Small at a club here in miami, and that woman was horrible. My 13 year neice can rap better then her.

38. This isn't the first time she was caught vandalizing & assaulting the shop owner .... she was arrested a few months ago doing the same thing to another show owner, not too far away from this store. She also broke her probation (per CNN News last night) .

She needs help to control her anger .... doesn't matter what race you are, you commit a crime, you have to pay for your actions.

1st of all Foxy does not come from the ghetto! she comes from Park Slope which happens to be a ritzy part of Brooklyn with million dollar brownstones!! So speak only of what you know!!

2nd of all tell me how and why tmz has showed a video with her entering the store and walking around as well as her leaving the county jail in the morning. But their are no pictures of her spitting on the man or throwing glue at the store owner??? This puzzels the hell out of me...

44. I think that everyone needs to calm down and just think for a minute. This was the goal that Foxy Brown's team wanted. This a is publicity stunt that is out of control. It does not matter if your
opinion is negitive or positive, the more people that give their input are just shinning the spotlight on her. I honestly was a fan for Foxy Brown but this was a just a way to step back in scene
so the people who forgot about her can remember because she
will most likely be coming out with a new album soon. She's playing all of you against each other and you all may not realize
this but this is how artist sell records. Foxy vs. LIL'kim, 50 cent vs.
Cam'ron, and list continues on. I am not falling for it and I am not
going to buy the c.d. that she is trying to promote in a sneaky, deceptive manner. Well maybe if someone buys the bootleg version for me for $5. hahaha!!! Lets face it, that's what this b.s. is about anyway. Does anyone feel what I'm saying?
