I'm not completely familiar with all of the types of life insurance but, when I applied for a policy (term) through Prudential they wanted to add a surcharge of $150.00 annually for the 1st 10 years (it was a 20 yr. term, fixed rate) because I had Lyme Disease! The logic was that the long term affects were unknown. I guess it's definitely true that my money isn't as good as a celeb's.

Also, the longer all of this drags out; the more money the Bahama govt. makes in tourist dollars and international media coverage.

The Bahama govt. & some of their officials are so corrupt that it is ridiculous. Howard K. Stern, will get what he has coming to him - if he does not kill himself first.

Personally, I think that if he doesn't try to kill himself; he will flee the Bahama & US govt. to a country that is exempt from US & Bahamian extradition.

He probably has already sent funds there from her offshore accounts, money from Daniels pictures (that Anna said she sold to pay for his funeral) money for the baby pictures, money from the committment ceremony and on and on...

70. Candee, have you ever seen Anna with Birkhead or heard of him before the paternity suit? I watched a few of her reality shows and took notice of her but wasn't a glued to the tube follower. I would think that she'd be proud to show off her boyfriend of approx. 2 years, that's why I'm asking. In 2004 she told Larry King she doesn't date or have boyfriends. She's said that a few times. I think it's obvious she had something intimate with Birkhead but, as serious as he says it was? I never noticed him before.

73. Howard in my opinion is like a parasite feeding off a host. It needs blood to live. He, according to the news, pushed himself on Anna and knew he had a good thing. Marshalls estate would have made him very happy with his percentage if he settled it. What the heck, if he could live in the Bahamas off Anna that's not a bad deal, pretty nice. Howard, supposedly ,asked the guy in the Carolinas to put his name on the birth certificate. He could not do that with having a vasectomy. Daniel unfortunately died in the Bahamas visiting his mom, do you really think Daniel would have wanted to be buried there? If Anna could have stayed in the US without Larry coming after her I can bet you Daniel would not be buried in the Bahamas. Everyone knew exactly what Anna wanted, right. I don't think Anna was even in her right mind to know what half the time she was doing. They should have gotten her help after her son died. As far as Anna doing her own thing and you could not control her that's bull. If Howard cared like he says he supposedly does then how do you not get her help. I would have threatened her with the baby if she would not get help. This poor baby is going to have to see everything about her mother when she gets older. It will really be a miracle if she does not turn out with problems between all this mess that has gone on. It is a shame, disgusting is more like it. The will alone should tell you she was not with it. I would hate to have Howard as a lawyer. He did not a damm thing for her the way it looks but create a legal nightmare for her.

And insurance companies don't work that way. You contact them and file a claim, they don't contact you. I just did it last year when my mom passed. She had a policy that was paid up 20 years ago. How the heck would they know she died. Then there are privacy laws to consider. You don't just call the police and say Hey, this person has a policy and something looks fishy to me.
