Will Anna Nicole's Son Be Exhumed?

Daniel SmithThe biological father of Daniel Smith wants his son's body exhumed and moved from the Bahamas to Texas.

In a letter obtained by TMZ, Billy Smith -- through his lawyer, Kara S.P. Butler -- is asking The Chief Magistrate of the Bahamas, Roger Gomez, "permission to have the remains of Daniel Wayne Smith (deceased) exhumed from its current location here in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and to be transferred where his father and family reside in the State of Texas."

Anna met Billy Smith at Jim's Krispy Fried Chicken in Mexia, Texas, where they both worked as teenagers. They married in 1985, and Daniel was born the following year.

151. Good God, let it go already!! Is there never going to be any peace for Daniel and Anna? If a judge approves this latest crap move then he/she should be shot. There has got to be an end to this saga. Let the poor boy stay where he is so his mom can be near him. Why is this guy all of a sudden the concerned father? Daniel said in an interview that he hadn't had anything to do with his father in years. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Virgie was behind this as one last vicious slap to her daughter. The entire bunch should be in counseling.

154. Just look at Daniel's eyes in this photo! He is so sad while his mother poses with him like he is some prop. Not exactly a motherly bond. Free Daniel from this crazy carnival. Do not subject this young boy to being part of a tourist trap. Give him dignity. Don't let Anna Nicole keep him as her prop.

155. I knew this was going to happen and hoped it would so Anna the only one you will have is Howard because the baby will be with her rightful father so Ha! Ha! coward Howard and then Anna won't have Howard either for he will be in jail or move onto another woman to leach off of . Go for it Billy Smith and get your boy home where he belongs .. I was really hopeing this would happen and now it is .. He was not a citizen of the Bahama's and his Father has all the rights in the world .. 158. You people need to get your facts straight.

1, Under oath it came out that there were NO life insurance policies on ANS.

2. Billy Smith told the judge under oath that ANS should be buried next to Daniel. He also hasn't had any contact with him in the last 15-18 years.

3. Virgie Arthur's high priced lawyers (and who is paying for them anyway) are behind this. Any normal mother would give it a rest and put her own feelings aside and let ANS be buried next to her son, the one person ANS loved with all her heart.

4. Give Howard a break - all he is trying to do is try and follow through with what he knows that ANS would want. He has stuck with her through thick and thin for over 10 years. It came out in court that ANS was using drugs before she met Stern so she can't blame Stern for the drugs or the estrangement.

5. Hopefully, the funeral will go off tomorrow without a hitch and ANS and Daniel will be both able to rest in peace for good. Virgie is just upset that her meal ticket has been taken away from her. Good riddance to bad rubbish!

You're completely correct. Anna let him "rot" for 3 weeks, then planted him someplace where he didn't want to LIVE, much less die and be buried. She buried him there ONLY because SHE was trying to avoid being served in America for paternity by Larry. What a loathsome mother. Her LOVE for her son was secondary to her own selfishness, deceit, and manipulations.
