Will Anna Nicole's Son Be Exhumed?

Daniel SmithThe biological father of Daniel Smith wants his son's body exhumed and moved from the Bahamas to Texas.

In a letter obtained by TMZ, Billy Smith -- through his lawyer, Kara S.P. Butler -- is asking The Chief Magistrate of the Bahamas, Roger Gomez, "permission to have the remains of Daniel Wayne Smith (deceased) exhumed from its current location here in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and to be transferred where his father and family reside in the State of Texas."

Anna met Billy Smith at Jim's Krispy Fried Chicken in Mexia, Texas, where they both worked as teenagers. They married in 1985, and Daniel was born the following year.

185. This is unbelievably cold and shows that Virgie will stop at NOTHING to get her own way. There has to be an underlying reason why she's pursuing this so desperately and I bet it has to do with the Marshall suit. As for her ex son-in-law, he's definitely a pawn in all of this and has been pressured to do it.

Oh and for all of you who think it's okay to have a body exhumed and moved somewhere else, I hope the exact same thing happens to you one day....

I would NEVER want my body moved after it had been interred for religious reasons as well as moral ones.

188. I am a single mother of a 20 yr old son. I know where Anna Nicole was coming from. My son and I have discussed this time and time again. WHAT WOULD WE DO IF ONE OF US DIED????. We both chose to honor where the other one wanted to be buried. I have already had to bury a husband and a child, so let Anna Nicole rest in peace along with Daniel. Keep in mind the old saying what goes around comes around. Think what you want to think about her but remember she is a HUMAN BEING, just like you and I.

192. Well, get this!!!! The church where the service is being held is charging any media who wants to have 1 camera on their private property to film the service $2000 each and any one who wants a satellite hook up they are charging $5000 each. This was announced on Nancy Grace!!
