66. #12, MFM- I'm with you...This has dragged on for far too long. A simple paragraph or two when she died would have sufficed.

The fact is though, people are voyeurs and they love gossip. We're looking into her life, seeing things that she and HKS (that bastard!) tried to keep from people.It's like looking into your neighbors window and finding out all their deep, dark dirty secrets. And we LOVE IT. It's tawdry, nasty, embarrassing, illicit, illegal (at least the drugs) and immoral.

And sadly, they brought it all on themselves. Someone should have kept that poor, stoned woman off TV during that Trainwreck of an appearance on the Music Awards show. Hey Howard, where were you then, when "My lover, my everything" was making a complete ass of herself on national tv and, once again embarrassing her poor son.

The whole story needs to go away. Get that baby away from HKS and that psychotic, money grubbing grandma, and end this thing.

67. This is like a MURDER MYSTERN unsolved. These bodies are in a casket - caged like they seemed to have been during last time of their life - they were locked away from the family and friends who loved them - by people who seems to have neglected them and they died young.

Interesting the premonition the locked out mom said on TV - that she blamed lawyer who controlled Anna - for the death of Daniel and begged for help because she thought the lawyer would also and soon kill Anna - for glory of money. Daniel and Anna are forever silenced - if this is a murder - hope it will be solved.

I appreciate your passion and opinion, that is the beauty of living in a democracy, unfortunately you are profoundly wrong on the factual basis of your statements, the reality is that after the Vietnam war, the policy of all administrations has been to avoid at all costs the images of flag drapped coffins and grieving famillies unless it can be used to political advantage see (Reagan(actor) and Bush I(war hero), but in the case of Clinton(actively avoided military service) and Bush II(actively avoided military service) administrations the legislative and governmental mechanisms have been implemented to aleviate any negative political reprucussions due to their many foreign policy debacles. Furthermore, to correct your assertion, it was Bush II who very wisely allowed the foreign policy implemention which was continued during the Clinton era to balance Mid-East alliances with certain unsavory individuals and organizations because it served our national interests - unfortunately we were unable to see that our "friends" were lying to us. And, if Bush II had simply focused on Afghanistan, we would have finished of Osama Bin Ladin and his organization and saved a lot of wasted American lives and families unnecessary suffering. Clinton should have been impeached for lying to the American public. But, let's be honest if not for false intelligence reports and Haliburton's financial interests we would never be in Iraq either. In the end, each party is the same, we need a man like John McCain or Bush I, real warriors, real heroes, real leaders to guide our nation at this time.

69. By the way, Post #31. I read your blog and I wholeheartedly agree with you. Our country is made to look (in the press) as a place of idiots. We have lost respect in the world...for some
time now. The world sees us as a very divided country. And, as we all know, showing weakness enables others to capitalize on it. Years ago, the press was not allowed to make our leaders look bad in the world's stage. Sometimes too much information can only be a detriment..esp. in a time of war. I wonder how many Americans have lost their lives due to the press wanting to be first in getting out information...remember, those embedded journalists?...In addition, something like this ANS saga is also broadcast all over the world, and, as some bloggers have noted, taking the place of "really" important stories. Our soldiers are dying each day, as well as other more important issues. All the press is focusing on some glorified stripper, who used men to get what she wanted in life (without really working (standing up.) And, the press is causing this to be blown way out of proportion. Thank's to ET, Splash, etc., everyone thinks that they can win a lottery for themselves. If it turns our stomach's, being Americans, can you imagine what the world thinks of the great USA? I just hope the "terrorists" out there aren't feeling more empowered to "hit us again."

74. So happy Anna has left FL. and going to be buried. So sickening to think 60 media and 6 helicopers were following. When starting yesterday many tornado's hit across our US and many deaths through this morning when also a bus from Ohio with a ball team went over the bridge killing and injuring many of them but they will interrupt news stations about tornado's and bus accident to show plane taking off with Smith's body. Does these people in tornado's and bus crush not count??? They are mostly young kids at scholl and on a bus. What a mess this has been and WAY to much coverage. Our TROOPS sure doesn't get this coverage or even our presidents. I forgot the bus that crashed over the bridge was on it's way to FL. were the laws or no news media to busy at airport with a body, doesn't apply much at all. Glad bus didn't crash in FL. Am sorry it crashed anywhere but hopefully Ga. has better laws and news coverage of important news and think of these injuried and killed as human beings and think and pray for their families and them. They are covering it in GA. Only get coverage in FL. when big money is involved or if you are in playboy, or attention on news media so you can be seen and put a big show on and not go by the laws that are in the courts, seems just a happy go lucky do what you want in courts and ignore the laws on the books. I am like the one person on here save your tears and prayers for our troops/famlies and all these lifes and injuries that have happened yesterday and this morning. Also for our kids that are being abused and sexually molested everyday. Like little Jessie L. hope today the news media will give that (Jessie's) trail some coverage and justice will be given for this little girl and her family. I agree ANS was a human and she needed prayers and so does her family now for sure and I feel for her family and that sweet little baby Dannylynn but enough is enough about ANS. "Over The Top Funeral" is the right words (with shame to all the people that put the big show on and all the court media coverage about ANS) She was human, a daughter, a mother, ex-wife, and a playboy bunny, ect. I do hope our society will take a look at themselves and for sure our media and courts (especially FL.) need to take a look from the inside out. This has been just a very sad and mess to think anyone as ANS was just a human being that did nothing for our country or nothing as far as I could see to help anyone. Did nothing of importantances, from what I seen of her short lived life. That is why I am so very sad and puzzled about what a big show in court and media put on and now going to overseas. Saying wanting to protect her child Dannylynn Smith Marshall. All that has been done in the last couple of weeks sure hasn't protected her child, will most likely be a lifetime of damage and shame for her!! Hope we can now get some important news on our cable, we are paying cable bill for more then what has been on most stations last couple of week ANS!!!
