Tina Louise Is All Grown Up!

With four of seven castaways dead, 73-year-old "Gilligan's Island" star Tina Louise is still tickin' after undergoing her lifelong 639,480-hour tour!

Tina Louise
While she's no longer a movie star in real life, the original Ginger spice is now a children's author, having just penned "When I Grow Up."

At a book signing in New Jersey last week, Tina proved that just because you're a septuagenarian doesn't mean you can't have plump lips, copper hair and taut skin!

"It's primitive as can be!"

31. Jess, are you out of your mind? Tina has had every kind of surgery, eye lift, botox, lips, chin and neck surgery. I think what looks bad is her hair. Not enough hair and too young of a style. Also, go lighter on the eyeliner. Less is more when you get old and 73 is old in my book. Maybe I'll change my mind about the number when I get there, but...come on, let nature do its thing and/or just stop staring in the mirror all cod dang day.

"Jane, you ignorant slut!"
(Crickets from everyone born after 1978)
No one cares about you, or your mom except you and your mom, and of course your children, and her grandchildren...the rest of us...not so much!

35. The thing here is she is not a bad looking woman but no way is she a sexy beauty. I think she looks lovely for her age. And maybe not trying to camouflage it, would probably make her look even better. The reason why you do not hear LaVern and Shirley criticism is because they are growing old with acceptance and grace, and that goes for MaryAnn (from Gilligan's Island). The criticism is brought on (not to say it is right) when you try to compete with a much younger set of folks! "No comparison!

37. The thing here is: She is not awful looking for her age. But she does not look like she is fifteen years younger. That would make her in the fifty-something catagory. For most, no way unless there was some type of trauma or illness. She looks lovely for her age, she has watched her weight, maintained the fashions, but no way can she compete with the younger set. And trying to even infer it brings criticism. There is no one talking about Lavern & Shirley, that is because the both of them is growing older gracefully and not looking only to be seen as a sex symbol, so there is no reason to lash out in criticism. Tina's co-star MaryAnn is another one who has accepted who she is and looks lovely for her age.

43. I saw Tina Louise a couple years ago at a party after her performance in a play called Love Letters. She looked lovely. This photo is just a bad photo, taken with her holding her mouth oddly. Photographers love to catch older actresses look old and weathered. Some paparazzi photogs like to kneel and focus up at the chin of actresses to accentuate double chins or turkey waddles. Tina Louise has lovely skin and beautiful eyes that this picture does not reflect. However, her hair is a bit thin, but for Christ's sake, she's 73 years old. Most people won't look that good when they are half her age.

Tina starred in several successful Broadway productions, notably the original Lil'Abner. She also starred in the film, God's Little Acre. Unfortunately, Gilligan's Island Typecast her. Although, she got great reviews for portraying one of the original STEPFORD WIVES.

So, you guys have a little more respect. Just look at yourself in the mirror now....and imagine what YOU will look like at 73!
