Antonells BarbaSources have revealed to TMZ that there's a feud a brewin' backstage at "American Idol."

According to our spy, some of the religious female contestants are none too fond of one Miss Antonella Barba, since racy photos of the off-key idol began popping up on the net.

No confrontation has erupted, but it's been downright chilly behind the scenes, with the idolettes now waiting to see if America decides to keep the photogenic Barba around for another week, heaven forbid!

When contacted, reps for "Idol" had no comment.

18. she is very pretty, and she didn't post those pictures...one of her supposed "friends" did. I guess...who knows. Doesn't matter. We all know how the show works...the judges do not decide...callers decide.

if you do not like her, call and vote for someone else.

personally, I don't think she is better than some that have been kicked off, but i haven't called to vote...so she stays until she gets voted off. I say if you want saucy pictures of yourself, and you look good (hell even if you don't and you want them for yourself) go for it. Just be leary of who you let get ahold of them.

19. Previous American Idols have not been "saints" but they have been classy. Ms. Barba doesn't even have class. In addition, there is no talent behind her lack of class, so if America is smart, she will not be there another week. If she did reach celebrity status because of AI, then she would be fit right in with the other classless girls her age!

23. I think Antonella would be off better pursuing a modeling career. She seems to choke at singing. I thought she was pretty good at the audition but I have not seen anything close since. She is a very pretty young lady and should give modeling (print work) a shot.

Leave the singing up to the ones blessed or have trained voices. Like Whitney Houston(blessed), Celine Dion (blessed) and Mariah Carey (trained).

27. I agree with Amy. She is not talented. And YES your behavior DOES matter in a contest called "AMERICAN IDOL". I wouldn't want my kids idolizing this girl. Much like Brittany Spears I would keep my teenagers clear from anything to do with this girl.

28. I think that the girl needs to go because she can't sing. But I think that Idol is giving her special treatment. They were fast to kick off Frenchie Davis for her pics and any of the other contestants that have shady pasts.

29. I can not comment on her singing ability, but there is an obvious attempt here on her side to garner a "Hilton" style of popularity. Unfortunatly the Idol producers are not stepping up to this rude behaviour and booting her. To cite the words of Simon "..Let me make this very clear; the public deceides if she should stay." On that note, and the predelection of horney young men everywhere; she will most likely win the competion not on her ability as a singer, but as a playmate. America will vote it's first centerfold.

Perhaps the show should be renamed American Pinup?
