FOX to Ann -- Be Our Guest... But That's It

Ann CoulterDespite referring to Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards as a fa**ot, FOX News Channel is standing by 45-year-old lanky, right-wing loudmouth Ann Coulter.

Just yesterday, FOX News booked Coulter on "Hannity & Colmes," where she defended her haughty homophobic invective, saying it was not "an insulting word" but a "schoolyard taunt" and a "joke."

TMZ asked FOX if they would dump Coulter. The obtuse response: "Ann Coulter is not a paid commentator and her remarks don't reflect the views of FOX News Channel." We take that as a "no."

TMZ also contacted Coulter's agent to see if she would be dropped for making the remark, just like CAA dropkicked conservative radio talk show host Michael Savage over a similar homophobic remark against Melissa Etheridge. But the powerful William Morris Agency was mum on Coulter. We called and e-mailed, but no response.

46. I am so proud of those of you on this site who have posted responses to this story IN FAVOR of Ann. Even if you don't like what she said, she is allowed to say it. WHY, OH LORD WHY, is it okay when the left spouts vile, disgusting, non-PC things, it's fine and dandy and "freedom of speech, man" but if someone on the right has a moment, it's the end of the world? Plus, I'm sorry but that is a schoolyard taunt. as far back as I can remember. Like I can't stop people from using the N word, the Fbomb, etc. gays will not stop the WORLD from saying faggot.

Also, some bloggers have called for the conservatives to shun her when no one said boo when that woman in Edward's camp said some pretty awful things about Christians? Double standard, eh?

She won't stop until she's banned from all networks except FOX.
Or....enough people like me boycott the sponsors on her website.

It's amusing to watch the Repugs trying to distance themselves from her most recent attack. All, of course, in private are giggling.

52. I've met John Edwards. He is not a *@%$#@ and we should all vote for him and the hell with Ann the Mouth. He'd be / been a whole lot better than the dictator we have now. Just my opinion.

She must be coming out with yet another "rag" she calls a book........controversy seems to always surround this poor excuse of a woman..when a new publication is either being printed as we speak or manuscript has already been sent to the publisher......I guess we will all have to stay tuned..........(at are own peril, and please cover your children's ears) for her next spectacle...if you must.
