102. I think that vdo clip was taken out of context. I remember Simon criticizing JH for being a cabaret singer many times. He didn' t like her ass back then. It's impossible for Simon to praise anyone like that evey week. The clip shows only a one-line compliment. I think it's disgusting how the media want you to do really well and then shoot you down the minute you're on top. What about those other AI contestants who didn't make it after the show? How come they didn't make it big? It's the talent that counts. JH didn't make it big after the show. She struggled for 2 years after AI ended. I'm sick of AI taking credit for everything. That EXTRA show is lame anyway. Other celeb shows are doing much better so they feel the need to dig up some dirt and sensationalize any poop they come across.

103. Ok...not going to get into the name calling thing here...but I wanted to add my 2 cents.

As far as the "weight" issue...I do have "concerns" about Jennifer Hudson....she interviewed that she purposely put on the weight for the role in dreamgirls, and she had set up a trainer to take the weight back off...well I guess she has figured out what all the fuss was about now...because once you pack on those pounds, it's not easy (unless you are Star Jones and can afford a surgeon that will keep his trap shut) to just snap your fingers and lose it. It messes with your metabolism...especially at her age. I don't mean to stereo-type with the comment...but...difficultly losing the weight is harder for african-american women....I have a ton of friends (all african american)who have told me so....it just doesn't melt off of them the way it would melt off of a Caucasian woman doing the same exercise and diets at that age. Now let me clarify....I'm not making a blanket statement that all african-american women are fat...I'm simply saying that if you take two actresses the same age, who start off at the same weight and pack on the same amount of weight for the same amount of time...put those two women in the gym together and it will take the african-american woman LONGER to lose that weight. Jennifer Hudson is what....mid 20's? That's right about the time that women get the wake up call that your body isn't the same as it was when you were 18...Jennifer Hudson is just learning the lesson the hard way.....an in the public eye.

Now that that is out of my way, I have to agree with the previous poster in saying that "ingrate" is a little harsh. She is at very least a hypocrite though...because she gave American Idol props in her acceptance speech. I agree that her win is a fluke...even Eddie Murphy didn't think she had a shot...otherwise he would have stayed...and basked in her glory. (Which he is entitled to....just a bit though). Is she a talented girl? Absolutely...but she needs to watch those tapes....and then apologize and admit she was wrong.....I won't hold my breath.

As far as American Idol...I watch it...I enjoy it....I think it's just a little too weird that the American Public has picked a different music "style" each time. Season one...you had Kelly Clarkson....the waitress turned rocker...and the epitome of commercial with a capital C. Season 2...Reuban...the ballad singer...Season 3...Fantasia....the "modern" Whitney Houston...Season 4....Carrie..the country singer...and season 5...Taylor...the blues singer. It's all just a little to "convenient" for me...AI is just covering all their bases. As far as Jennifer Hudson is concerned...well...there is a vacancy in Bobby Brown's bed...and she seems like she is right up his alley...maybe the 2 of them will run far, far away together.

105. How can this Women win a prestigous award like an Oscar? She wasn't good enough to win American Idol which has to do with singing, but she's good enough to win an Oscar that has to do with acting. Doesn't the world see something wrong about that? By the way she's a rhinoceros.
