Rosie Slams "Idol" as Racist, Weightist

Rosie O'Donnell laid a smackdown on "American Idol" this morning from her perch on "The View," saying that "Idol" canned former contestant Frenchie Davis for her breast-baring snapshots, but kept current wannabe Antonella Barba despite hers -- because Davis is black and fat and Barba is, well, not.

"It's weightist and wacist," said Rosie, doing her best Donald Duck impression. Silly wabbit Wosie, ever heard of Wuben Studdard? Fantasia? Babwa wasn't there to comment.

Rosie, never one to hold back her opinions, also took time out during Hot Topics to blast "The Insider" for propagating the saga of 841-pound Renee Williams, who died yesterday from a heart attack.

82. Once again Rosie barks out at someone without getting the facts first. Frenchie was paid money to pose on a site that encouraged child pornography. The bucky beaver chick just had a loser boyfriend leak those pictures to the press. Big difference. For someone that huge she sure has a teeny tiny little brain.

85. Frenchie was thrown off because she POSED for the pictures specifically for a naughty website.
Barba had her camera stolen and her photos were placed online, alledgedly without her permission.
I am a gay man, but Rosie is really getting on my nerves with her mouthiness and non-thinking...

86. I say kudos to Rosie for not being afraid to voice her opinions. In this day and age, too many people in show business are told to, "shut up and sing," and it makes my angry to the bone that some of them comply.

Rosie is a refreshing, HONEST, celebrity, whose opinions almost always parallel mine.

Keep up the good work, Rosie, and never, EVER let anyone censor you in the name of higher ratings or political correctness.

90. Is it me, or does Rosie O'Donnel seem to be suffering from narcissism to some degree or another? I wonder if all her proclimations are an attention getting device. I also wonder, without making commentary (yet) on her most recent one, with regards to American Idol being "racist" and "weightist", if one were to prove her wrong, if she'd still believe this regardless. Otherwise, she'd think she was right regardless of the facts, and it's only a coincedence when the facts match her beliefs.

As for my opinion..and I'm saying this as someone who doesn't watch "Idol" much at all, no I don't think the show itself is racist nor biased against people that are over or underweight. The voting by the public may show such bias sometimes, but not the show itself. I do think that Ms. Davis was released due to her being a former pornographic model for a fetish website. Otherwise, she was paid to do this. The other contestant wasn't..hers were photos spread beyond her control, she never asked nor wanted such to be put out there. If the other images were posted on a pornographic site, then I would suspect she'd be disqualified also.

Or the short reply: Rosie, put the race card back into your behind, stop being the crusader for imaginary causes.
