J-Hud Gives Up on Chi-town

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson learned the hard way that Beyoncé and Anika Noni Rose make for better singing partners than random fans in Chicago.

Hudson was in her hometown yesterday as Mayor Richard Daley proclaimed it Jennifer Hudson Day. When Hudson broke into song, she looked to the crowd to sing along with her. "Y'all want to help me out?" she asked. Apparently the answer was "No."

She held out the mic and when no one piped up, Hudson asked, "Where y'all at, Chicago?" Again met with silence, Hudson ended her number with a simple, "Well, that's enough."

64. Jennifer Hudson has a very irritating attitude---so arrogant at an early stage, yet she may yet prove to be a "flash in the pan." She ought to be humble and accept the fact that if not for American Idol, where would she be? 67. Maybe that girl have talent (and very good one) and I think it is stupid to talk about her weight is something pertinent to talk about. But seriously, she looks like she has a big ego. Me too, I don't like that girl's attitude. There's something wrong with her. How can a one-time actress can deserve an oscar for only one movie? I don't understand how they judge (the Oscars Panelists). There's so many actresses that acts since many years and that are good... Why did they give the oscar to her??? I'm really surprised.

70. I don't get why people feel she should thank Simon..hell he told her she was out of her league!
She has thanked American Idol already. Even when she won an NAACP award she even thanked Randy Jackson who picked her as his wild card-----------what the hell else is she supposed to do for Simon?
He may have had a few nice comments about her when she was on the show but he had a lot of nasty comments as well and he could never get past the clothes she wore.

Far as I can tell....he is just pissed because she isn't kissing his ass. She shouldn't have to because she earned where she is fair and square.
She never disrespected Simon when she was a contestant she took his gripes and didn't so much as give him a dirty look. If you notice nobody has pulled out clips of her on the show being disrespectful to him.

Simon is an ingrate...he needs to get over himself.

I wish her all the best because she at least represents what it means to preservere in spite of what some people think. More people can relate to being told they can't do something or that they are out of their league than people who can relate to someone like Simon. Sure he is funny and candid but he told her she was out of her league and she went on to beat Fantasia out of the role of Effie.

Jennifer Hudson doesn't owe Simon anything; She has already stated that she will always be greatful for American Idol because without that she would have never have recieved a call to audition for Dreamgirls. She said it to Barbara Walters.

Hell the girl was kicked of American Idol in the 7th round and you all still thinks she owes Simon something?
Puhlease.
I bet for some of you...if she could just "lighten up" (and i am not talking about her weight)..
If she would just lighten up that skin color you all could deal with her.

72. I never like her on American Idol. I thought she could sing, but her attitude stunk. Fantasia should have gotten her role in Dreamgirls. She is a very nice person (I met her) very humble and down to earth. Not a stuck up snot like Jennifer.
And please #69 don't play the race card. The world is full of racist people be above it don't go down to their level.
