McConaughey and Hudson Shred the Gnar!

Kate Hudson was snapped having a giggle Down Under with Cameron Diaz's smiley surf boy, Kelly Slater, while "Fool's Gold" co-star Matthew McConaughey treated the press to a shirtless interview at the first stop on the Association of Surfing Professionals world tour.

Hudson seemed quite taken with eight-time Foster's ASP world champ and serial startlet-dater Slater, who has dominated in the surf (and turf) competition.

McConaughey, who's been enjoying the Aussie beaches in advance of a surf-themed film, gave journalists his take on the sport, saying, "I'm gettin' a workout from all the paddling." Rad!

16. I love the surf culture. Those 3 make so much sense hanging out together. They are all bohemian, hippiesh, health nuts who love the beach, ocean, surf, bongos, music, da kine, and beauty Did I say I love the beach culture!? I live in San Diego, so I live it everyday!

18. McConaughey is nasty. He gives me the creeps. Give me Christian Bale anyday. I don't go for the redneck type like McConaughey.

19. Hell, if you were as HOT as both of these gorgeous guys, I would be as big as a player as I could be! Why would you settle for one choice of something if you are single and haven't found the "love of our life" why wouldn't you taste all the different flavors...They could treat me like "Ice Cream" or better yet, I wouldn't mind tasting either of these men or both! Call me a "player" anyday, if I could have a chance to be with either or both of this fine pieces of God's Creation's I definetly wouldn't mind! How could you pass, they are both exteremly fine to look at! You might as well say they are a fine pieces of "ART", pure in simple!
