49. I agree with your comments KDW, though I don't think it has doomed his credibility as a leading actor. That could have happened for some actors but I would say this movie has actually helped out both Gyllenhaal and Ledger's careers. I know I love and respect both a lot more now than I did. I especially didn't know Ledger had it in him to give such an amazing performance. I was blown away. Before Brokeback Mountain I didn't really care either way about him, but now I think he's a great actor and am a big fan. Obviously there will be some closed-minded morons out there who will crack jokes and call them gay, especially Gyllenhaal, and most will be stupid, uneducated hillbilly men, but there will still be several sophisticated people out there that will continue to see their movies and support them. Gyllenhaal is in Zodiac right now and that's doing decent Box Office for being a nearly 3-hour drama. Him being in it didn't hurt it at all. Ledger is doing the next Batman movie, and no way will that bomb. His being involved won't hurt it in the least. While I hate people saying a straight person was brave for playing gay, I do have to commend them for taking on the scrutiny they will from people. While they will get many praises, they will also have to deal with several comments from idiots. In a way they're almost going through what a lot of gay people have to go through if they want to be themselves and not live a lie.

51. Jake is SO not gay. My sister's girlfriend was doing an internship in NYC last summer for
HBO. She was out one evening with friends and they ended up partying at a club called Butter with several people including Jake. She said he is adorable, very funny and has "roaming hands." She said he was a huge flirt, too!

55. Everyone knocks ryan. We were not flies on the wall in their house, come on. First of all they were both young when they got married, people change. I think they grew apart which happens in alot of relationships. It's obvious Ryan is a great father to his children, as is Reese as their mother, now let it be. Move on and let it be already. Ryan your still a cutie and seeing how you are acting in the magazines you are showing us you still respect Reese Keep it up!!!!! The important thing in this story are the kids be there for them both always!
